it comprises comprehensive knowledge of economics, it is designed in a nice manner. the faculty-student ratio is around 1:10, faculty is well-qualified and quite friendly., term exams are not very difficult they are of standard level.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like EY, and KPMG offered internships with lucrative stipends for around 6-12 months tenure. Some Content creation, Digital marketing, HR related internship opportunities are also available.

Placement Experience

Average placement is around 4-5 lakhs, and companies like tech Mahindra, Preferred Square, Techguru, Wipro, TCS, and EY visit the campus for entry-level positions. D.E. Shaw also visited the campus and offered 21 LPA but no one got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for each year are around 25000, apart from that for each semester you need to pay 1500 examination fees. No financial assistance is available, although there are opportunities for internships there.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is quite lively, 2 festivals are held each year and they are quite vibrant. Books related to the course are available in the library although they are not enough to fulfill the demands of each student The classroom is quite decent. Sports are poor.

Admission

After the 12th you can pursue this course, CUCET is the entrance exam you need to clear to enter Delhi University. All the information is available on the DU website. The admission process is quite smooth and totally online.

Actually the 3 discipline core subjects are truly important and relevance to my course. However the skill enchantment course and value addition course, even EVS taught this semester barely helps. That sometimes even felt like a burden. Still choosing the right GE, major is useful. I enjoy that... going through.

Reality Check

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in theoretical subjects. Even in my school time, I liked theory subjects more than practical or numerical subjects. This is one of the reason I chose this specific course. Another reason is that I like reading non fictional novels. At the age of 15, I started reading novels but after diving into this course I'm liking the fictional novels too. I don't think this course needs to improve anything. It is in it's best form at the point.

MY COLLEGE - HEAVEN AND HELL

Placement Experience:

I think students become eligible for campus placements in 5th semester as now they are mature enough to be given such responsibility and to secure their future. I am not aware about the number of companies and offers. I am also not aware about the highest or lowest package offered but the average package for my college is ?6.5 lakhs per annum. The cgpa should be above 7.5 for better chances of getting placements. My plan is to get a good college placement in starting of the 5th semester.

I knew a senior already and asked her about the college she said teaching staff is good for which I can totally agree..there are a lot of assignments and stuff but at last it's helpful helps to gain exposure, knowledge and experience If you participate in all the activities which happend then it will be really good and helpful But the syllabus is very vast and with activities and assignment it gets stressful For the first year first sem it was very hectic as the exams were in really few gap but it was fine in second sem It is advised to try to study side by side atleast a little bit

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
