Likes

The societies offer learnings and are very fun.
The fests and canteen offer really good experiences.
The course offers nice exposure and academic skills.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is really weak
The continuous cancellation of classes is discouraging.
The red-taping in the administration office is concerning.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very intense and theory oriented. The faculty members are nice and explain the concepts in an easy way. However, the sudden cancellation of classes everyday is annoying and needs to be resolved.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 27660 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of 27,660 rupees per annum is not justified at all since our course has no activity in the lab and other theory oriented courses like Economic Hons. is priced at half of our fees. I do not have much idea about the scholarships, and campus jobs.

Campus Life

The campus life is really good here. The societies are very happening and exciting. There are events happening every 2-3 weeks. The annual fest is also really nice. The atmosphere of the campus is very welcoming.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth. However, the CUET exam conducted for the eligibility of the entrance was poorly executed. The range of difficulty of questions throughout the country and dates lead to normalisation which reduced a lot of students raw scores.

From 3rd semester students were eligible for campus placement In our campus mamy well known companies were visited like Google amazon flipkart and many more great known companies In our course highest pakage is 52 lakh per annum and the lowest pakage is 8 lakh per annum If students need to placement they need more than 8cgpa in every semester My plan after getting degree to get a placement and get well settled

Placements of our college doesn't lack anything as students mostly opt for further studies but I have no issues saying that placements are also available if not in numbers. Let's be fair as jobs in current scenario are that many in comparison to the number of students that graduates every year. Still, Miranda House has done well to make sure that over 60-65% students get placements.

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement but if we doing 4 years of college so 8 semester. Name of the companies visited. Zomato Amazon Uber Ibm There are around 70000 students who are eligible for the placement Asiants paints The highest and average package offered to the students is 35 LPA for highest and 3-4 LPA average. The percentage of a student must be above 80 percent if they want a average job but if a person want a job in great company they should have percentage around 90 to 95. My plans after getting the degree to become a lecturer. placements, especially for students in popular courses like commerce, economics, and science. The college often invites various companies for campus recruitment, and many students have secured jobs in reputable firms. the extent of placements can vary each year based on market conditions, the courses offered, and the students' performance. If campus placements are limited or not offered, students can still focus on enhancing their employability. My overall experience at COLLEGE OF VOCATIONAL STUDIES, DELHI UNIVERSITY

I appeared in CUET 2023 and their was a very basic eligibility for that is to be 10+2 and nothing more. I filled out the form by myself and the fees for that was 700 but it depends on the number of subjects you choose. I appeared as a general category student but the ones who belongs to any of the reserved category can take benefit of the reservation. Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
