The course and curriculum is well designed and since b. ed is a professional course it provided many opportunities for real time work experience where we interned at a school as student-teacher. There was ample space provided for classroom discussions on various social, political, religious and other issues which helped me in building perspective. Many visits were made to different types of schools (private schools, inclusive schools etc. ). Great focus was laid on perspective building and personality development which are a must for any professional course. The faculty was decent. Most teachers were helpful and easily available for discussion and problem solving. Though I was disappointed with a few subjects like *ICT FOR TEACHER EDUCATION*. There was no hands-on experience and those who are not adept to use of ICT were not given in extra aid or support. Our knowledge level in ICT before and after the course remained just the same and there was no additional growth. Seems like the subject was taken lightly.
Course curriculum is totally practical based. They gave us visits to different schools, NGos, and other places for our better understanding. EPC was also there for our skill development. All facilities were good. They were ready to help. Tutorials were also there for Individual and unique learning experience and one-on-one attention.
Course was amazing and insightful. Except a countable few, most faculties carried general discussions in class which were remotely related to the topics. General discussions are fine but the course required more close reading which couldn't happen.
B. Ed as a course is very important for any teacher. Both filed exposure and theoretical knowledge was provided through the course. Though the course content is updated but it lacks touch with ground realities at times. Some of the amazing faculties encountered were:- Prof Neeta Arora, Prof. Nisha Dedhwal, Prof. Sanjit Das, Prof. Hemlata
Curriculum was well defined and properly designed to suit the need of the course. Being a professional course it provided great opportunities to explore our surroundings and the needs of the current situation. It provided practical knowledge as well as theoretical perspective of education.
