Remarks

Delhi University provides this course in only 4 colleges and SPMCW was one of them. The label of DU in itself was sufficient to choose this college because cracking the entrance is in itself a much difficult task.

Course Curriculum Overview

B. Ed as a course is very important for any teacher. Both filed exposure and theoretical knowledge was provided through the course. Though the course content is updated but it lacks touch with ground realities at times. Some of the amazing faculties encountered were:- Prof Neeta Arora, Prof. Nisha Dedhwal, Prof. Sanjit Das, Prof. Hemlata

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 17350 per year

Placement Experience

Heritage school visited theCollege for placement. Bharat National Public School also invited applications repeatedly. Placement Cell of the department keeps sending messages regarding applications and job opportunities in different t schools and institutions.

College Events

Campus life events and extracurricular activities are extravagant. However participation of students ftomB. Ed is minimalistic given the fact that it is a PG course. Though National festivals are celebrated with full vigour and enthusiasm. Annual day is celebrated every year.

Campus Life

B. Ed students are not allowed to avail sports facilities and computer labs. Library and canteen is open to all the students irrespective of the course they are enrolled in. Books in both hindi and english are available and resources for Visually challenges students are also available in the library.

my best decision for my enjoyment

Placement Experience:

The college provide very good placement after the second year, provided student should not have any backlogs. The average package that my last year senior received around 4.3 lpa. Many of the reputed IT companies had vistied my campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
