College with Good Environment

I had opted geography hons because i think geography as a discipline gives us practical as well as conceptual understanding as compared to other social science discipline But I think every discipline has their own scope, it depends how much you are interested to study the course. In geography, we studies the paper like GIS and Remote Sensing ,Now a days which become very important field and their demand are increasing in many MNCs Companies. The exam conduct semester wise, the level of exam of eady to moderate if you attended classes properly and do little hardwork you can score well in exam and get good cgpa.

Genuinely, I tell you, there is no good placements and we were not aware about any companies which provides good placements. But Internship opportunities available, if you are interested you can do. Like in our time, there was a vice-chancelor intership for the regular student where they provide internship for 6 months.

The year -wise fees we paid Rs. 9350 and total fees of the entire course was around 28000 with all charges such as tution, admission, development, library, lab, and other fees. There are SC and ST management cells in our college which provides financial assistance to needed students College Provide scholarship through various Government scholarship.

Our college is regularly organised various events and seminars for the student's academic as well as for the extra curriculum activities. In our college, there are many societies. Good library is also there.

I have taken admission in DU -2021, At that time, Cut off geography honours in du was quite high as well as for the other subject. According to cut off, My class 12th marks (93.4%) was matched with Geography course of SPM, College du. I have got easily admission without any disruption.

The student strength of our department (geography hons) is about 75 for each year. The student and teachers relationship are good . Teachers are frankly to speak with students and understand the student probelms and their perspective. The faculty of geography department is amazing and well qualified. The college conducts the exam according to DU pattern of syllabus, usually semester wise in the period of our batch.
