The Infrastructure is good compared to many off campus du colleges.
Professors and administrative staff are cooperative.
College is not affiliated with Delhi university Student Union.

Dislikes

It's all girls colleges, deemed toxic compared to co-ed colleges.
Societies are inactive. You can't partake in activities.
Placement of seniors are not high in terms of packages.

Course Curriculum Overview

In terms of comphrensiveness, The course is easy but it is not up to the mark when it comes to relevance. Most things that we study are not relevant in today's world. You need to do additional courses for skill development.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 11,000, The full courses will be around 1,00,000. Still it is affordable compared to private colleges. Accommodation in terms of rent is very costly in punjabi bagh as it is a posh area. College is at walking distance from shivaji metro station.

Campus Life

As first year student, the campus life is vibrant. If you are good at networking then you can access events/seminars from all over Delhi University. Not many evemts are held in college so you'll have to rely on your friends from other colleges.

Admission

Compared to previous college allocated, which was Kalindi college, this college has better Infrastructure, faculty and environment. It is less hectic compared to schedule of Kalindi college. If you want to pursue another course or prepare for any competitive exam then SPM is beeter option.

Faculty

For first semester,there are 3 core subjects and 4 elective subjects. For bcom, the core subjects are- Business law, Business organization and management and Financial Accounting. Elective subjects are GE,SEC,VEC and AEC. The faculty are cooperative and helping. Classes are held regularly.

Interview Experience

No GD, Interview or test pattern has been conducted yet. The session started in August, Till September, there are no group discussion, Interview questions and test pattern. The criteria for cuet was priority.

Night Life

College has gym, library, gazebo and canteen. There is no network in building/library so you have to go to ground if you need to us ephone in emergency. Canteen has good and varied options. College timing is 8:00 am-5:00pm. There is no nightlife.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. I applied in Lucknow university and also gave IPMAT exams. I was selected in Lucknow university for bba but i still opted for this college.
