know about my college

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

I have taken B.Com from here because after that I have to target an IIM because I want to get into a good IM. The biggest reason for choosing this college is that this college is under Delhi University which is a big deal. I was offered admission in other colleges as well but leaving them all, I chose this one. B.Com is a good choice if you belong to a commerce background because here you are taught many things about the real world and what is going on now. If you choose B.Com Honors, then you have the option of becoming a specialist in any one subject.

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

As far as I know, there is no internship in my college. There are some societies here which can provide you this opportunity but I have not got any such experience till now and when I tried to find out, I came to know that there is nothing like this in the college. There are some societies which can give you this opportunity but for that you will have to become a part of that committee, you will have to face competition, whether that society will take you or not, you will have to give an interview, which means you might have to face a lot of problems, there are some WhatsApp groups, I don't know how many are real and how many are fake, you get some notifications there but till now no one in my friend circle has got the benefit of that notification, if ever they get it then I would definitely like to tell that if I get a chance again then till now I have not got any such experience where a girl student gets an opportunity for an internship.

Fees of the course per semester

My college is a part of University of delhi, so the annual fees here are very low. My fees are Rs. 15675, but the semester examination fees have to be paid separately by the students. And if there is any other expense or the college is launching something else, then the students have to pay the fees separately for that too. But my college is very far away, so there is no hostel facility there. So the students have to stay in PG here which is very costly and the things available here are very expensive as compared to any other place. Maybe it is because of the college because the kids here come from far away, so they feel that if they ask for a high price then these people will give it to them. Even the food items available in the college canteen or any other thing are also very expensive, leaving aside the MRP items. But the environment of the college is very good, you will get to see a lot of greenery here and the teachers here are also very good except for a few teachers, you will find them everywher.

Students views about the campus life

This college is a part of Delhi University, so elections are also held here. When elections are held, every student gets a chance to choose his favorite candidate and there are many societies here which organize events in and outside the college. If you want to be a part of those societies, you have to give interviews and some tests. College life is very good because there is a lot of ground here and if you are an introvert child, you can also spend time alone and many games are played here. If you are interested in them, you can take those games and play them. Competitions are also held here and the college is a part of Delhi University, so you get a chance to compete with all the colleges in Delhi University and to come first there.

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

I am currently in my first semester. Here you will find many programs which are made for the students only. The examination structure is also very good because the college is under Delhi University. The college fees are also very low because this college is under Delhi University. The teachers are very friendly. Your subject teachers will be very good but sometimes you will find some teachers who will not match your thoughts at all. You might get upset with them but the teachers change in every semester so there is no problem with this.Although the exams are semester wise, but there are class tests, project assignments, internal exams as well and the student is busy with all these but he has a lot of time too, so if he wants to play a game or prepare for something else, he can do that and the environment of the college is very good where you can talk to people.

What is the admission process of the college?

See, there is an exam whose name is cute.Students from all over India come to give this exam. Competition is very high. There are many universities here which will choose you on the basis of your score and you get admission here on this basis. So my admission was in this college in Delhi University. Here a list has to be made. So I had placed this college a little higher because it was appearing on Google that it is a part of North Campus. So I had placed it at the top. But in reality there is nothing like that. This college is a part of off campus. But there is a rule of Delhi University which is in your list. If you find a college from it, then you cannot choose the college below the list. You have to choose the college above it. So I had mistakenly placed this one on the list because I did not have that much information. When I searched on Google, I got that this college is a part of North Campus. But there was nothing like that. So I could not do anything. That is why I have taken this college. If I had got a chance to change the list, I would have definitely gone there because this college is very far. Here you can go to the college. If you stay here then you will not feel that you are in Delhi at all, you will feel that you are outside Delhi but now this is the college so I have accepted it, now I do not feel it so bad.

Night Life

To tell you the truth, it is absolutely useless, this college is very far from Delhi. If you stay here, you will not feel like you are in Delhi at all. Firstly, it is very expensive here because the children here come from very far and they come because of this college and here people have increased the prices a lot; small things that you do in your everyday life, the shops here close very early and at night it seems that the atmosphere here is also not good. This is absolutely true, if you go out alone at night, you may have to face a lot of problems. If you are going out at night, you can go out with your friends, that is, 5-6 people together. If I say in few words, then you will not feel good at all here at night.

SO, THE BASIC MOTIVATION FOR TAKING THIS COLLEGE WAS BOTH FOR THE ACADEMICS AS WELL AS THE FEES STRUCTURE. MOREOVER, THIS COLLEGE IS A PART OF DELHI UNIVERSITY SO THAT TAG IS ANOTHER MOTIVATION. THIS COLLEGE APART FROM OTHER COLLEGES IS FAR BETTER EXCEPT ITS LOCATION AND ITS FACULTY ITS VERY GOOD. TO TAKE ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE OR ANY OTHER COLLEGE OF DELHI UNIVERSITY YOU HAVE TO GIVE CUET AND THEN FOLLOW A COMMON ADMISSION PROCESS WHERE IF YOU GET A SEAR ALLOTED YOU TAKE ADMISSION IN THAT COLLEGE.

Student Snaps:

Admission:

I was the first batch to have given the common entrance exam for central university in 2022 and since a new procedure was established there wasn't any resources to cope up it.thus even after scoring a whopping 95 percentile in CUET and still landed in a teir 3 college but I was surprised how much of a diffrence it really hold.I landed a private institute before delhi university and a state government of Uttar Pradesh college also but since I got enrolled in Delhi University I couldn't been more happy, your college will not define your efficiency that's what I learned but I do not deny the perks you get in the top most colleges of Delhi University,The crowd and the connections would be memorable and so on.Make your preference clear from the start when you apply under Delhi University.
