Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum at Swami shraddhanand is well organize and is good when it comes to an Pacific accept the curriculum that influenced my decision is that the teachers are very helpful and the nature of them are too good and Indian world it is quite good and I would like to tell some improvement that can be done in that thing is that doing some practical things like taking experiments in the classes which can help the student has to grow more and I think the frequency timing of exams is pretty good and the deficit level is moderate if the students learning .

Placement Experience

5

As much as I know from last 4-5 years there is a placement cell in our college and they help us to get a placement through different companies different MNC is like earlier we have to report in the North campus like SRCC then other colleges for to get place but now in our college days a particular place value which helping BA bcom and BSc students for getting and 4% battery jobs and helping to get their team jobs I think is the best thing

Admission

I think it's only depend upon the university and there is little bit of thing that is depend on the college I think the choosing of this college is that my elders has been password from this college this Britishers college and I would like to have the same opportunity in the feeling of get a passing out with this one true college and having some wonderful memories that's my elders have been till now and don't think there are some parameter that can be able to compare with depends upon the types of students that type of faculties and college disturb the locality all the things depends for being a college in a good way so I think it not the main reason of getting some extra reason

Faculty

Swami Shraddhanand College (SSNC), a constituent of the University of Delhi, boasts a distinguished faculty committed to academic excellence and student development. The college's teaching roster includes experienced professors and lecturers across various departments, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their respective fields. Faculty members are not only dedicated educators but also active researchers, contributing to the advancement of their disciplines. The course structure at SSNC is meticulously designed to provide a comprehensive education. Undergraduate programs, such as the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), are typically structured over three years, divided into six semesters. For instance, B.A. (Hons.) students are required to complete 26 papers, while B.A. Programme students undertake 24 papers throughout their course. The evaluation system at SSNC comprises both internal assessments and end-semester examinations. Internal assessment accounts for 25% of the total marks in each paper, distributed as follows: assignments (10 marks), class tests (10 marks), and attendance (5 marks). The remaining 75% is determined by the annual University examination. This bifurcated assessment approach ensures a balanced evaluation

Interview Experience

4

No there was no such type of GD or any type of return test during the process of admission but yeah there is the CuET entrance test which has been conducted by the NtA so its compulsory. So I would like to say there is no such type of exam and nozzle type of GD or interview for that

Placement Experience:

Placements in IGNOU are quite limited compared to regular universities. Since IGNOU is an open and distance learning university, it does not have a strong campus placement system like DU or private colleges. There is a Campus Placement Cell (CPC) that conducts job fairs and recruitment drives at some regional centers, but these are not very frequent and mostly depend on the location. Usually, students who are in their final year or have completed the course can apply, but there is no fixed semester rule since the system is flexible. The companies that visit are not very large in number and vary every year. Some private firms, NGOs, BPOs, insurance companies, and small IT firms have participated in the past. The roles are generally entry-level such as sales, customer support, data entry, insurance advisor, or junior IT support. There are very limited opportunities for core mathematics or research roles through placements. As far as packages are concerned, the average package is usually around ?2.5 LPA to ?4 LPA, but since IGNOU is an open university, it cannot be expected to have the same placement levels as regular colleges with full-time classes. Also, the percentage of students placed is very small because most IGNOU students are either working professionals, homemakers, or people preparing for competitive exams, so placements are not the main focus. Many students use the degree as a qualification while pursuing their own career path outside. I am currently in my 2nd year, so I do not have personal placement experience yet. The data I have mentioned here is based on internet sources and feedback from other IGNOU students. From what I have learned, placements exist but are very limited, and one should not rely only on them for career building.
