Course Curriculum Overview
The course that I am pursuing i.e Zoology Hons is very relevant and comprehensive to the core principles of the subject. It is very well structured into topics for all 8 semesters which makes learning every topic very easy and logical.
Internships Opportunities
There is a Training and Placement Cell of the college that takes care of all the internship opportunities for the students. They regularly come up with various internships that fit students' desires and allow them greater exposure outside the college as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees that I am paying for my course i.e Zoology Hons in my college , Acharya Narendra Dev College, is Rs. 17000/- It is the total fees including every possible charge and has been consistent since my admission.
Campus Life
As ANDC is purely a science-based college, the focus is more intended on the academic aspects and less on the co-curricular aspects of the college. However, the Annual Cultural Fest of the college is good. There are multiple societies and clubs for students that provide a greater exposure to connect with the students of other departments in the college.
Admission
I applied to all the top colleges in Delhi for the sciences. The college that I got admission in wasn't my first preference but because of the very high cutoff and merit scores for the General Category, I wasn't able to get into my Dream College. Nevertheless, ANDC is also very reputable for its science courses.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite balanced here. We have 2 main teachers and 2 subordinates who assist the teachers and the students at all times. All the staff are very approachable and helpful towards the students. The course is structured systematically by the university and our teachers follow the same guidelines.
Night Life
As it is an entirely morning shift college, there is No Night life involved. All the students are made to leave the college premises after 5 pm. The library closes at 4:30 pm and the college fully shuts down at 5pm.
Other Applied Colleges

The cutoff level was very high for the General Category.
