Course Curriculum Overview

i was interested in political science so choose this course it prepares me to make right choices and guides and knowledge me about the political situations of my country which is very helpful as such it doesnt need any changes every thing is good the study and the curriculum and exam is tackled easily with this curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

For the 1st and 2nd year i paid 12945 ,now i paid 13695 for the 3rd year. tution fees registration fees development fees and all other fees were included in these yearly except the exam fee and practical fee which is always paid during exams which is around 1200 per semester . the admission fees has increased by approx 700 rupees . I am from general category , and in end of the graduation , total paying amount will be around 50000 . the ba ,and ba programme students almost pays the same fee whereas B.SC students payed around 14000 for the 1st and 2nd sem and 16000 for the 3rd sem , plus the lab, practical, and exam fees seperately depending upon their number of subjects and practicals. i am not aware of any scholarships or finanical aids that students get . as per my knowledge nibody has ever gotten these financial aids in my college . the college only favours boys cricket team .

Campus Life

1

my life at college is pathetic with no friends , shradha tarang is the name of annual fest . their are lot of events held every months . mostly books are available to all the students easily their is no advance or technology in classrooms except one or two the camps is not good for sports except for boys cricket team . other sports are neglected and never emcouraged . no facility or support is available for sports no competition or anything . yes their are student run social groups which do benefits a little but not fr students it is just a moral and cleanliness group which goes out of the campus for surveys and protest

Admission

i was not able to get in other colleges because thier were some mistake in my documents and preference list i made after cuet . i was not happy with this college but i have to go to this because i dont wanted to waste my year . i applied to many other colleges of delhi university. i was not enrolled in any except this swami shradhanand i got rejected because i set my preference list with top colleges. my cuet score was good but because of listing and documentation error i suffered . in my college adsmission process is followed by clearing cuet and verifying documents in college

Faculty

4

faculty is very good and . large no of faculty is present, which is also approachable to studennts when needed and the relationship between teachers and students is friendly A.K DUBEY sir is very down to earth and seet , friendly , and respectful towards students too.he is a knowledgeable man . the politcal science department faculty is best . shikha mam , manish sir payal mam, etc. DR VIPAN KUMAR hi is the english techer. the rudest teacher and disrespectful towards students . he is very mean , he taunts students and thorws them out of the class even during the internal exams he never hesitates to do so. he never listens to students and just make his own assumptions of right and wrong without knowing and thing and just judgeing all the time. there are practicals of all subjects which are around 6-7 and then their internal exams and then finals. all the exams are of moderate some are easy but not tough . almost clears all the exams except few students who never studied . quiet relevent

Night Life

1

as i said i have zero college life because the enviornment of college is so backward . so many boys making girls feeling uncomfortable .no gym, cafeterias a small empty shop type place , unhygenic the canteen is so suffocating .washrooms so dirty broken . i never visited hostels the college is located at very unsafe place for boys and girls both a lot of crime happening in and out so no places to hangout .the college is basically shit also i never stayed late night in college not worth it and not enter taining

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
