Swami shraddhanand college pros and cons

Likes

The lush green campus, which adds extra beauty to our college and it's surrounding area which is very peaceful and allows us to focus in our study in better way
Our college has got a biggest college ground in the whole delhi University circuit

Dislikes

Its connectivity to the metro is really very bad and needs to be improved
It's locality is very influential for local gangsters and Mafia

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our college collects fees from its students on yearly basis and my first year fees was 12500/- and the same was charged in the 2nd year too and in the 3rd year it was ?13695/- . no any concession is provided to any category students unless he/she is having scholarship or getting benefitted from any government schemes or policies As I'm pursuing history Hons. So there is no any lab fees and there is only annual fees for every students and in addition to it, we are always required to pay examination fees prior to our semester examinations. Fees of my bachmates are same as that of mine

I like the teachers here they are good and very supportive.
Sports department is very rich here ,many of our students have played on higher level.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is bad as it is a old college it need renovation
Canteen also need renovation. Food is unhygienic.

Fees and Financial Aid:

We pay year vice fees which is 13k-14k and exam fee for every semester which is 1.3k to 1.5k according to your subject. I'm now a 3rd yesr student and i think fees are constant throughout these years. And yes we get internship opportunities. We also get scholarship according to our economic background.

Nothing as such. The course is poorly designed.
no attendnce criteria is the only thing I like

Dislikes

The whole college. The students and crowd is not good.
The teachers do not teach and do not come to class.

Fees and Financial Aid:

the total course fees is around 40000 to 50000. per year fees is around 14500. this is the only fees one is required. reserved class students paay even lesser in terms of fees and are highly priviledged in that sense.

Me and my college life over alll

Likes

My college is like okay okay but it's full Greenery, I like the environment there it's friendly
Facilities are good, administration is really helpful

Dislikes

It's too far from metro station, have to take bus or auto from metro station to college which is annoying
I don't like the canteen or its just me who doesn't like food from my college canteen

Fees and Financial Aid:

As we know in colleges under Delhi University , course fees is affordable apart from hostel. Idk abt other departments but in mine I paid in the 1st year was 12899 and it increased with 200 in 2nd year and same 14899 in 3rd year, 14899 yearly and then in every semester we have to fill the examination form which depends on your subjects .

We have a joyful and healthy environment.College is designed to fulfill need of every type of students with library having lot of books
A playground which is maintained very good.lot of players are gone out to at international level also from our college

Dislikes

Canteen is not up to the mark which slightly need improvement

Fees of our college is very reasonable as compared to other colleges offering same courses.Also our college has scholarship programs in which students fees are waived off which is strictly for the students who actually needed .for course which include lab work has fees little bit high compared to courses of non lab .

Teachers faculty Is very good specially from physics and chemistry department
This college also promotes outdoor games like cricket and badminton

Dislikes

The main disadvantage to take admission in this college if it's an off campus
This college is in Delhi but it is situated at the border of delhi

Fees and Financial Aid:

I have completed my graduation from SWAMI SHARDDHANAND COLLEGE in 2023. It's a good college with good campus and faculty. You can take admission through CUET it's fee of registration is about ?1000. Your course tution fee will be around ?12000-?15000 range. Exam fee is not included is this and exam fee varries from course to course. Its a very good campus with good teachers and also students are also hard working and ragging is complety banned in campus area.

Facility of my department is very goodd..one of the top teachers of University taught me
Good lab instruments and very cooperative lab assistant

Dislikes

Crowd was not so good . I met few good people in my college but many rude people also
Infrastructure of my college was not so good

Yearly amount is from 11000 to 14500 according to the second you passed on. We have to fill examination form before every semester exam and additional practical fee if 210 according to the no. of practical subject we have . Scholarship is available for northeast student and kashmiri migrates.

My tution fees per year is 14795/- I'm from general category For sc/sts they can provide their caste certificate and they will get a huge reduction in the fees... students can also provide their low income certificate for reducing the fees

All about du off campus college

Likes

Teaching faculty is overall good they are experienced and overall worth the time taken many teachers are good but some of them aren’t that nice
Convinience in attendance in off campuses there is not much pressure over students kn attending classes and in majority off campus college it is same

Dislikes

Administration faculty is not that good they are quite rude and don’t wanna help students in procedures
Infrastructure isn’t that great for off campuses

Fees and Financial Aid:

DU fees varies from campus to campus for my campus. It is an old campus and I have to pay somewhere around ?15,000 for one year and it is quite affordable. It varies it is higher for North campus whereas for my college, the infrastructure is okayish If i say about financial assistance for fees you have to apply under the quotas and income certificate with the college they will provide assistance if correct documentation is there

Cafeteria, college is outside of Delhi..
Metro is not near to the college that's create problems for transportation

The complete cost of my studies is approx to be 35000...and the various scholarships is provided by the university and the government schemes is also available for the help of the needy students that help them for their studies
