College fees were around 12,500 per year. We had to pay 500 per semester as exam fees (so 1000 per year) After graduation, Certificates (provisional and migration) will cost 500 each. The biggest cost factor is that seats in hostel are limited. Hostel fees are around 6000 per month including food electricity laundry. However most are unable to avail it as seats are as low as 5 per course. while we have over 50 per course. The rest have to find other means of accommodations which are most of the times very costly in delhi.

Students are expected to pay the fees on a yearly basis and being a government institution, the fees of English honours in Miranda is about 12-13000, which is to be paid in one installment at the beginning of every year. I think it's the most convenient sum. Talking about scholarships, the college offers multiple scholarships from time to time. It also offers scholarships to students from certain parts of India for their admission.

During my time in Miranda, they used to follow a one year method to take fees from students. It was 14000+ for arts and humanities. For science,it was 19000+. They used to include all other bills within this.I don't remember paying for anything expect an exam fee in the last year. But it was refunded to my account.I haven't witnessed any hike in the fees, however, the amount of fee may make the course inaccessible to many. The scholarship portal of the college website was active, there was financial aid provided by the college, It also included other aids and scholarship from the alumnis

The feees for the English Department of Miranda House are between 13000 to 14000 which seems doable in my opinion, but I come from a Middle class family so it might defer. As for scholarship, I did not avail any since I don't come under the income bracket and as for placements/jobs on campus, I myself haven't availed those facilities or got any such jobs but I know one or two friends who have from the fests and stands set up by the Placement Cell.

One of the best parts is that for this course I only pay 14000/- per year which is quite affordable when compared to the faculty, infrastructure, and education quality provided to us. Scholarships and financial aid are also provided to the needed students in nice numbers.
The fees hike policy is quite affordable. I received no scholarship. No financial assistance either. No job as I am a student and not a teacher :) The fees are minimal and not that high as our college is a government college and they are not that high.
I don't have much knowledge about this. But being a government college, Miranda House (and DU as a whole) has low fees and has scholarships. It's also known to provide disability concession and access to libraries.
If you are studying at Delhi University then you know the fee is very nominal and you can easily afford it. In case you can't, do not worry as you can get financial assistance. Although I am not really sure about the criteria I do know one thing that if you can show them your merit score and that you are in actual need, you will be given a scholarship.
Around 15k per annum is charged per semester which means 30k annually. Scholarships are given to students holding excellent merit in their given course and are even awarded an All-Rounder Award for their excellence in academic as well as co-curriculum activities. You need to fill in a special form for Financial Assistance the details which are provided by the college itself. You would also need to submit your family's annual income in order to receive the financial help which should be less than or equal to 3lakhs INR per annum.
The fee hike has no problem for me but I do not know about others. Given the quality education that we get, I think it is worth the price. I do not have any scholarships or financial assistance during my college years but I have friends who got minority scholarships.
