Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it gave all rounder knowledge of English literature,it began with Indian literature which includes ancient Indian mythological text like clipattikaram and ramyana and Mahabharata, then continuing to British litterateur

Internships Opportunities

5

There are various campuses that come to offer intership but since must of the courses are arts so the placement or stipend offer by them is quite low , companies who require editors or for journalists are offering a high package to the students

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell of the college is not that good because quite recently the placement cell is established and they do not even provide good placement. The average package is also quite low. Although it's not that good like other colleges but they are still working on it

Fees and Financial Aid

The the feees structure is not divided into semister, since Miranda house is a government college so all you have to pay is a very nominal amount . For my course the fees is 12000 in first year and then it is 14000 in the last two years. There are not such scholarship but if you come under ews category you can avail the scholarship benefit

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is very good and it's one of the safest campus in the entire university, the washroom are very clean , the smart boards and the furniture is all new and providing a cohesive environment for students to study

Admission

I took Miranda house because it offers best literature course in the entire Delhi University, the admission process of the college is convenient and it guide student at every step , you first had to make sure you clear the cutoff and then you can apply easily

Faculty

5

The faculty members are highly competitive and well versed in their respective subject, they taught very well . The course structure is such that you have 4 core subject in the initial first year , then in second year you have DSE which is an elective subject that you can choose according to your own wish and in the last year you 4 core subject , 1 elective and 1 additional subject

Interview Experience

5

No there is no such group discussion or written interview , no there is no such thing Miranda House, a college under the University of Delhi, typically does not conduct an entrance exam for undergraduate admissions. Admission is primarily based on the marks obtained in the class 12 board exams, with a merit-based cutoff system for various courses. However, for some postgraduate courses or specific programs, an entrance exam may be required. It’s always a good idea to check the official website of Miranda House or the University of Delhi for the latest updates on admission procedures and any changes to the process.

Night Life

4

The night life is not such as the maximum time you are allowed to remain out is 9pm . After that anyhow you have to be in campus and so because of this restrictions anyway you have to be in campus as early as possible

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is something that can have improvements. For example I am studying C++ in my computer minor class which is becoming less and less relavent as compared to a lamguage like python. Alot of job prospects require students to know a language like R so I feel things like that should be taught so that the course cam make a student more real world ready.

My course is on a difficult side . There are subjects like statistics and maths which are too practical and hard . But this opens my mind towards practical approaches. Moreover the demand for this course is much more then its related courses like bcom and bba.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course requires a lot of analytical and logical thinking. The scope is quite wide in my course without having any professional degree too like research, analytics, finance manager etc. This course gives opportunity to gain applied skills and as we are dealing with quantitaive aspects our statistics also gets better with time. Few improvements which i would like suggest are that their should more practical and real life knowledge, currently it is very theoritically heavy. Teaching online softwares must be compulsoury so that we remain updated with technology.

Placements of my college are pretty good. The placement cell of my college is pretty active and facilitataes the placement process. Companies like Deloitte, EY and PWC often come to our college for placements with the average package being Rs. 8,00,000. After getting this degree, i will pursure another degree in MBA or I might also take a part in the placement process and pursue an MBA later. Students in semester 6 and further can take part in the placement process but there are internship fairs and summer internship programmes for students who are not eligible for placements

I have a keen interest in pursuing in Economics field as a career and hence my degree perfectly aligns with my career goals The curriculum is not very effective when we talk aboht the real world exposure however it is very good for further academic pursuits The curriculum could be a bit more practical based where we get exposure to the real industry as well. The exams are held twice in an year. The difficulty level is moderate
