Student Snaps:

Fees and Financial Aid:

I got admission in Miranda House in the year 2017. At that I paid ~?12000/year for as college fees. Althought could not secure a seat in college hostel, fortunately i secured one in university hostel which is outside the college campus but very beautiful and comparatively much affordable and great facilities as compared to PGs and hostels in Delhi. For hostel i paid around ~?90,000/year. I am not aware of the fees paid by other students as in coming from different categories. I am also not aware of the division of fees, like what amount went to which fund. Yes, there were some options for scholarships and financial aid available for students. Office admin was really helpful with these things. First they used to inform about things and then guide students for the same. There were options for students with some Disability as well. Both campus and the administration was student friendly in monetary terms, it was not too costly actually really affordable as compared to outside. Living in Delhi is really expensive but a good and affordable college with an affordable hostel makes it much easier to survive.

Miranda House is an epic college and what adds to its epicness is the low fees that it commands. The best thing though is even after such a minimal of fees if you need scholarships there are dozens available to help the student who deserves it.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Our of all the girls colleges of DU, Miranda House is one of the best as it charges fees lower than the rest. Our fees for my program English Hons is 22000 and last year it was only 20k. Girls have been supported both by government and the college so that needy and deserving both the students get scholarship.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am from general category with no scholarship/ aid. The tuition fee per year is roughly 14k paid annually and hostel fee is around 27-28k per semester paid twice an year. Every semester we have to pay an examination fee which is around 1200 (depends upon your course selection but is roughly around this figure). The fees does not largely increase (hostel fees did increase in lieu of some upgrades but we complained against it and got a reduction in the following sem). So annually we pay approximately 70k for hostel+college tuition. We get regular info and updates about scholarships, there are quite a few of them available for economically weaker sections, only girl child, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am pursuing English honors at Miranda House, University of Delhi, and the fee structure has been highly favourable for me. My fee for the first year was exactly Rs 15000, while for my second year, it went down to a little around Rs 14,800. My exam fee ranged from Rs 1110 - Rs 1310, depending on the subjects taken; for example, if I had lab/practical subjects as VAC or SEC, then the fee would be on the higher end.
