It's like when you enter the college it seems like a white bungalow like president house resort something like you know very precious and costliest hotel luxurious hotel.
Scholarships are provided to bright students and the reserved sections.
The faculty is skilled and they have a positive approach towards us

Dislikes

The college timings it starts from 8 in the morning, the time table is not so good and about teaching staff there are good and bad .
The principal is not good, as you may heard the Shruti scandal ??
Drinking water facilities are very poor.

Life with college

Likes

The Infrastructure of the college is amazing With so many garden areas to spend your free time.
Thers is good interaction between Students and teachers which I felt nice.
The placement is good wher placement percentage isabove 70percentage

Dislikes

The college do not arrange many enjoyable fest like other colleges
The college is for only girls so no interaction with boys
The college focuses mainly on studies rather than other activities

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies visited for the placements are Deloitte , EY etc . More than 30 companies visited. Highest package is 21 lakh for science students and average is 7 lakh. More than 70 percentage students hot placement.

Life at IPCW

Likes

College campus- it is the most beautiful campus for sure.
Faculty- The faculty of every department is well educated, almost every single teacher has done Phd. They are helpful as well
Societies- the college has many societies that cover everybody's area of interest.

Dislikes

Delays-The only thing that i disliked was that for some works like for example if you have to submit noc for your internship, they take a lot of time to submit it and give the noc.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in 3rd year. Many companies visit the college including the Big 4 companies. Highest package is about 21-22lpa whereas average packages range between 4 to 8 lpa.

My personal exoerience at ipcw

Its v peaceful. I thought girls college might have a lot of drama but its actually opp
College is v serious about attendance. That means you will have to go daily
Campus is good in terms of infra. There is a massive aports ground as well

Dislikes

In timetable there are gaps for example you have class from 1-2 then its from 4-5 sonit gets really annoying
Classrooms are tiny compared to the batchsize so if youre late you might have to bring chairs from other rooms or even sit in the corridor
Teachers are v strict about attendace. Even if you give a legit readon for example preparing fir ca etc. they just wont comsider

Course is nice in first sem you get to learn tally. Its a accounting computer aoftware its actually very usefull in the future. Even the subjects are fine. Syll feels to much at times. There are like fatt books for ever sem and its hard to complete any in each sem.

I like thr campus as it is more green and photos are nice
I like the safety as it is near metro station and bus stand
There is always 1 police car near the gate which increase the safety around the campus

Dislikes

It has some more no of classes and very tiring class structure
The no of classes are less and also there is no student room in which they can sit
I dont like the food of canteen much and also the washroom

Placement Experience:

In 3 rd year student aee offered with the placement opportunity and the average package is form 5-6 lacs and the highest package is 22 lacs but as the strength is more no of stundent, no of placement given to stidenr is less bit also placement depend on students ability.

The campus is know for its greenery and architecture i like that about my college.it also has well maintained classrooms , libraries ,laboratories and other modern facilities
I like the extracurricular activities about my college it offers a wide range of opportunities like the debate club , cultural societies and sport activities
Being a women's college IPCW places a strong emphasis for empowering women , both academically and personally through various seminars and workshops.

Dislikes

I disliked the strict rules and regulations regarding attendance, discipline,and hostel regulations which might feel restrictive to some students
And i disliked the academic environment of Indraprastha college its highly competitive that makes the students stressful who prefer a relaxed and calm environment
And i disliked the faculties. The way some of them behave and their poor knowledge of certain topics.i also disliked the way the pronounce certain words it made me doubt if im studying in a central university

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placements from second year onwards. Im s fresher and i have no idea about the companies. But i have heard about the package in north campus it 24 L per annum Almost 70 percentage of students get placements I plan to do some professional course after degree

They college campus is so beautiful and peaceful.
Placements: The percent varies from 80 to 90, and as I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's, I cannot give you the exact information. But as far as internships are concerned, the internship panel is quite active & offers verified internships.
Students and faculty members are very good and helpful for the new students too, even tho it's a girls college but it is far better than other dangebaj colleges.

Dislikes

It is not as prominent as other north campus colleges.
The principal is not good, as you may heard the Shruti scandal 😴
Lacks of fun activities like this year's fest was so dull and not fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

my course is pretty decent in terms of learning and understanding the real life aspects. Bcom hons was pretty ranked course in delhi university, it is better course to do. My semester started on like 16th of August and the exams were held on 21 of December 2023 and next sem started on 18th of January and exams were on 22nd of May. The timing in between is pretty decent to learn the things but not for the accounts.

All about 1st Girls college of Delhi University

Likes

IP college has great infrastructure. The campus is comparatively bigger than other colleges of Delhi University. I really liked the environment,greenery and the peacefulness of campus
The college has good two floored library
The college is good for those who are really studious . The faculty of college is also really good . I'm pursuing Bcom hons and the commerce faculty is really very helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

I somewhere don't like the management of the college . Sometimes even the official things took so much time which really irritates the students as well as faculty.
I'm living in hostel and to be honest the hostel is expensive which needs to be lower in price
Some of classrooms are not ventilated plus the beaches are also not comfortable.

Placement Experience:

The campus of placement of IP college is well good. Average placement package is 8LPA and the highest placement package is 32LPA . The 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte and DeShaw visit every time. But the DeShaw provides only 1 offer . 70% students are placed.

Indraprastha College for Women - review

Likes

Our college had hostels, with limited seats. Since I opted a hostel my college life had become extremely easy and seamless.
The security of a women's college; giving women a freedom to make their own opinions, dress as they wanted and learn without troubles.

Dislikes

IP College is not a part of north campus, so one might miss the hustle bustle around the campus and might not be able to get a glimpse of the campus
High focus on attendance, even to maintain hostels
The fests and college functions were not open for other colleges. They were not as good as other University colleges.

Placement Experience:

The placement specifically for Bcom Hons is very good; with great opportunities. However, not everyone gets placed - and one has to opt for placement. Around 20 percent of the batch had gotten placed though the placement cell. Highest package was about 16-20 lakhs CTC. Average package goes arounf 6-8 lakhs CTC. My plan was to do an MBA after my degree. Student is eligible for placement in the last year of the course.

My college life

Likes

I like the campus of my college it is very lively, beautiful, green and big.
The faculty of the college is also very good and knowledgeable
The opportunity the college provides to its students

Dislikes

Don't like the restriction and rules that bound ya to many extent
Don't like the busy hours the college time table is very bad planned
Don't like the college management work it is very confusing and disgusting

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the course is out dated the same going on through ages. But Delhi University is a very renowned University So studied there is a very prestigious opportunity for the students. I feel that the NEP has done a lot of changes in the syllabus

Life at IPCW

Likes

Library-It is well equipped with multiple floors and is quite a peaceful place to be.
Greenery, nature- the college has a wide diversity of flora and fauna.
The societies-The NSS society is very active and keeps on organizing various awareness programmes

Dislikes

The management is quite slow. And sometimes major tasks are delayed.
The classrooms having protectors must be taken care of and made sure they are ready for use very time

Placement Experience:

The highest package for the year 2023 was of 21 Lakhs p.a offered to a student from Economics(h). Students from 3rd year are eligible for campus placements. However, multiple internships offers are made available to the students of all years
