So i used to live in vijay nagar, there everything was provided mess 4times, laundry, wifi, housemade but it was far from college, so in second year i moved to gtb hudson lane, its close to gtb metro station so i do not need to spend more conveyance. I pay 12000 as my rent per month with almost everything provided in old pg. Food is was better quality, there is 3 time meal. We usually get idli sambar, dal, roti, chawal, mix veg, bhindi, aloo peri, kheer, halwa, dal makhni, manchurian etc. Hostel registration process is quite simple we just need to submit our forms with required details and documents. After that on the basis of your CUET scores, and category and availability we get college hostel. But the eligibility is you need to be a outstation student (not even Delhi NCR are eligible). College fees are affordable but still considering pg is cheaper than ip hostel.

We have to share room between 2 people. Food is 6/10 here Registration for hostel opens every year and we can apply from collage website. PG location nearby is Kamala Nagar and GTB. But some PGs are in Civil lines also.

IPCW: good option or not?

The college has Nescafe and a canteen which serves pretty good food.

There are two hostels, one inside the campus which has non-Ac rooms but is centrally air cooled via ducts, and one outside the campus which has AC rooms. Rooms are double sharing and quite spacious. Mess provides food 4 times a day and has a fixed menu for all 7 days of the week which is repeated. Hostel fees is 162000/- per year for non-AC rooms.

Indraprastha College for Women - review

Our college had hostels, with limited seats. Since I opted a hostel my college life had become extremely easy and seamless.

Dislikes

High focus on attendance, even to maintain hostels

IP College has two hostels: 1 is located inside the college, whereas other is right opposite the college. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available for students. However, hostels have limited capacity, therefore, only some students can avail the hostel facilities and it is decided by the marks that each student gets. The hostels are very close to the college and the food is also good. The menu does not change throughout the year. The cost of living in the Hostel is a bit high, around 80,000-1,00,000 per semester.

A deep insight - INDRAPRASTHA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Like hostel is provided for only 6 students from a particular programme. I stayed in hostel, like the hostel fee is high. The hostel fee per year is around 1.75 lakhs. I won't say you get the best food and it won't be too worse. The hostel provides oven and fridge and they if you are not willing to eat the food from the mess then you can order foods.

Indraprastha college for Women, an overview

Like only a few members around 5 to 6 from one department can stay in a hostel. The hostel fees is around One and half lakhs per year and it is a nominal fee and the food will be nice and the hostel is within the campus.

The hostel is good, the rooms are spacious, the food is edible. It’s cleaned regularly and there’s options of air conditioned as well as centrally air conditioned rooms. The average rent is about 80k per semester.

Ambience and environment

Nope. The hostel rooms are very pretty and spacious. But it is a little expensive. We had to give applications and selections happen according to availability and preferences of categories. There are ample seats. Per semester it must be around 64 thousand.

IP College for Women, DU

The hostel infrastructure and facilities are pretty good. The college has 2 fully furnished and newly renovated hostels, accomodating around 500 students. The college has it's own auditorium having balcony seating, a swimming pool and even a gym.

Good College

IP College has two hostels - KG hostel and IP hostel. KG Hostel is located within the main campus and the IP Women's hostel is located across the street. KG hostel was renovated in 2017 and the IP women's hostel in the year 2018. The hostel facilities provided by the college are pretty good. Rooms are available on twin-sharing basis but are large and spacious. A bed, study table, chair, almirah, book rack are provided in the rooms. The rooms are air-cooled or air-conditioned. The only problem is that the hostels do not have enough seats for all the students of the college.

How much is IP College Delhi Hostel Fees?

At IP College Delhi, hostel fees are 66500 in total for 1^st year and the amount is the same for 2^nd and 3^rd year. Mess maintenance charges for all the semesters are 14300. Some other hostel charges are given below.
