The Infrastructure of the college is amazing With so many garden areas to spend your free time.

the campus is very beautiful to start with and the infrastructure is good
there is a 2 story library which we all find very helpful
the faculty is great and helpful and the college is hence very peaceful

Dislikes

the societies, many of them are dead and non functional
the wifi is a big issuse it doesnt work and top of that network connectivity is also very low
in competitions, because its a girls college ..no boys are allowed soo at times no matter how great our fest is we inevitablely have less audience to catter too

Nice college but need improvement

Faculty of this college is good. But infrastructure like sports room, dance room, swimming pool etc. Need to be improved.
All girls college, so campus give you calm vibes, no unnecessary drama and good people to hangout with.
Faculty is good, teaching techniques need yo be improved

Dislikes

Placement cell is there but not much effective, no skill development as, well and no support for internship amd apprentice.
Infrastructure is good compared to most Delhi University colleges.
For my course there's only bookish knowledge, no push from college or department to learn some skills, fo research or internship.

Admission:

I chose this college for its faculty, affordability & reputation. Got offers from others but preferred this for better exposure. Admission via CUET; cutoff was competitive. Process was smooth overall.

Overall college experience at IPCW

The College has started organising lot of intracollege events, like sports day, Holi day, etc.
The college campus is very beautiful and has big ground and and running track.
The teachers of psychology department are very good.

Dislikes

The college sports complex is in very bad condition, the swimming pool is close for more than 5 years
There are lot of faculty appointed based of referral and not their competence, which compromises on our education
There is kind of, but of fear of administration among staff and teachers

Admission:

I applied through cuet only. Indraprastha College was my second preference after lady shree ram college. The department is one of the bests on Delhi university and I m quite content with the faculty here (except a few teachers). I chose this College because i searched through various websites and specially the psychology department of this college was rated good, so that's why. The rigor with which teacher teach here is much better than other colleges and the attention and focus on practicals is also i feel more here

The infrastructure of my college is really grandeur and exquisite considering its a really old college and gives off royal vibes. The campus has a peaceful garden area for students to rest along with an auditorium, conference hall which serves well.
the teaching faculty is really supportive and guides us through not only academic difficulties but also provides valuable insights for real life challenges.Their teaching is not confined to textbook but also adheres to its actual application in life.
The college societies are really active and gives the students a chance to enhance their skills and talents and take up leadership roles for future endeavors.

Dislikes

Most of the classrooms are not spacious enough to accommodate large number of students and makes it really suffocating during summers. Also not all the classrooms are equipped with air conditioning so its difficult to concentrate in class.
The college campus though in North campus is isolated from rest of the main campus colleges making it difficult for students to interact with others or participate in inter college competitions or seminars.
The college hostel lacks most necessities like proper water supply or cleanliness, also the timings are very restrictive that makes the students feel bound by very strict rules.

Admission:

The admission process for this and any other DU college is fairly simple which is to sit for the CUET examination which is an objective based paper and also to make a decent preference list to get into the desired college and course. My decision to choose Indraprastha college for women was because it provided my desired course and my marks aligned with it. I also applied to other DU colleges but am satisfied with my current position as it provides a well-structured academic base and gathers a much more decent crowd than any other DU college. The cut off score is different according to the categories but an average of 550-650/800 score is required for my course.

I'm in girls college so it's very peaceful here.
My college is very study oriented and teachers are really good.
Campus is really beautiful and we have flora and fauna here.

Dislikes

There are very less events takes place in my college
Crowd is very dull like people are good but they are boring
Sports needs improvement here because we have very less options in sports.

Admission:

I applied for Hindu college on my 1st priority but because of low makrs i couldn't make it. Otherwise i also got in Rajasthan University (Maharani college) but DELHI UNIVERSITY is better than Rajasthan University so that's why i chose DU. Admission process was through CUET exam. Later we have to apply for special university and than we got are allotted colleges according to ours makrs.

College campus- it is the most beautiful campus for sure.
Faculty- The faculty of every department is well educated, almost every single teacher has done Phd. They are helpful as well
Societies- the college has many societies that cover everybody's area of interest.

Dislikes

Delays-The only thing that i disliked was that for some works like for example if you have to submit noc for your internship, they take a lot of time to submit it and give the noc.

Admission:

So i was from the NEP batch so we had to give CUET. I applied for every single college in my preference list and this college was on 18th preference in my list. I got this college in the first round itself and i freezed it because i did some really small mistakes while making my preference list above the 18th preference. So i had to freeze it. But i dont regret my decision because firstly, this college is a north campus college and secondly, i was satosfied with everything about this college. Admission is based on CUET marks. Several lists are released to get admission in DU and depending on your cuet scores and category you are alloted the college based on your preference list.

Likes

The infrastructure is well maintained and impressive
Academics are strong , the history (hons) and political science (hons) one of the best courses in the college
Nature friendly campus , during spring the blooming flowers give campus a Nature- friendly vibes , resembling a mini Mughal garden

Dislikes

Being a women college can feel boring at times , though it fosters a self- zone
The rules are stricter compared to co-ed colleges
Political participation among students is not very active.

Admission:

I appeared for CUET entrence exam and had to rank my college preference during the admission process. Hindu College of du is my first preference while indraprastha college for women ( ip) was my fifth . However consulting with my senior from my school who was studying in IP College, I learned that history and political science courses offered here are highly reputed .This influence my decision to prioritize ip college. Overall I'm happy with my decision , though it's a girl's college so sometimes you can miss boys from your school.

Its v peaceful. I thought girls college might have a lot of drama but its actually opp
College is v serious about attendance. That means you will have to go daily
Campus is good in terms of infra. There is a massive aports ground as well

Dislikes

In timetable there are gaps for example you have class from 1-2 then its from 4-5 sonit gets really annoying
Classrooms are tiny compared to the batchsize so if youre late you might have to bring chairs from other rooms or even sit in the corridor
Teachers are v strict about attendace. Even if you give a legit readon for example preparing fir ca etc. they just wont comsider

As you might know we havmd to submit a oreference list in du for what college with what course will be preffered. Ipcw was my 11th preference. I sort of regret not putting my 12 preference that is arsd above it. I was 2 marks less for drc. They do not give a single damn in drc for attendance. Anyways this is what i got and i am not happy with my college at all

Likes

I like the environment of my college like any other girls college calm and serene. I love it you can literally sit anywhere and study or just chill and relax.
our infrastructure is heavenly. I love it and we also have three canteens now so ya
my faculty is extraordinary they all are iver achievers and female and male teachers are there and they are really cooperative but they are strict as well.

Dislikes

attendance issues if you are preparing for some competitive exam college doesn't give you any leave for that.
canteen includes one old one and nescafe and amul outlet but the food is not that good rather costly
I wish it was air-conditioned it would have incenticied the students to come to college

Admission:

MY CUET SCORE WAS NOT ENOUGH IT WAS LESS THAN 780 AND MY DESIROUS COLLEGE REQUIRED MORE OUT OFF BUT IM REALLY SATISFIED BY THIS COLLEGE AS IT IS ALL GIRLS SO NO DRAMA AND YA FACULTY IS ALSO GOOD SO I'M HAPPY WITH IT.

What is the expected CUET cutoff for admission to BA (Hons) Philosophy at IP College Delhi?

The expected cuet UG cutoff for BA Honors Philosopy of Indraprastha College for Women is 716. 1 (based on 2023 cutoff scores). This cutoff is of General Category. It is lesser than the 2022 cutoffs, the 2022 cutoff for BA Honors Philosophy was 744.
