Course Description
The college conducts an offline mode of the application process. Candidates seeking admission in the college can obtain the prospectus and application form either from the college. If the candidates want to apply offline, they have to follow the below-mentioned process –

IP College for Women offers courses in Science, Commerce and Arts subjects at the UG level. BA (Honors) is offered in 11 specializations including English, Hindi, Economics, History, Political Science, etc. BA (Honors) in Multi-media & Mass Communication is offered as a self-financed course. The college offers BSc (Honors) in Chemistry and Computer Science and BCom in Honors level.

- I'm in a girls college and I think ipcw have a great ambience and one other best college building of Delhi University as it was a colonial building.
- Societies are very active and will offer you a great opportunity to excel in co curriculum also. And weekly seminar and department fest are the best to enhance the diversity of college of different ethnicity people
Dislikes
- it is very isolated, doesn't support election not even allow other colleges students for fest.
- Worst part is classes from 8 am and ending on 5 pm with lots of gap ending in ruining your whole day.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Indraprastha College for women is a semi-government college so it charges more fees than other colleges of Delhi University. In other colleges fees is approx. Rs 15000 but in IPCW it is Rs 28000 approx. for first year . But it reduced in 2nd and 3rd year to Rs20670 . As I am from general category not fitting in the eligible criterion of fee deduction and scholarship so I can't claim for any scholarship or fee deduction scheme . My batchmates in other categories also have the same fees but they can claim for fee deduction or no fee as they are eligible for the income criterion required for this . Delhi university launch this scheme for fees deduction you just need to score good marks and have eligible income for the scheme below 4 lakh. College also provide a similar scheme for fees. - Academics is very good. We are very active on the academic front so the students studying in this college gain enough potential for higher studies that they are opting for. Moreover there are a lot of opportunities that one must get in this college.
- The co-ciricular activities in the college are very good. Students are exposed to a very broad background of numerous activities other than academics.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is not something to flex in the college. The food quality is very poor and not tasty. And adding to it, the food is expensive too.
- Schedule for classes is something that isn't very good either. Early morning classes that end around 5:30 in the evening is something that gets us tired.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Yearly as a history honours student I need to pay around Rs.20,000. Other fees include examination fees per semester that rounds off to around Rs.2000 per semester. There are benefits of scholarships for the people with an income of less than 1 lakh per year.

The fees structure is normal like per year you have to pay 12000 and around 40000 you have to afford to complete the programme. Scholarships are also provided for physically challenged, kashmiri migrants and for other backward classes.

The fees for this course is around 15 thousand per year, so the course is for threee years and the total amount we have to pay is around 40 thousand. They also give scholarship for physically challenged, OBC and for Kashmiri migrants.
Fees and Financial Aid:
My college provided a scholarship for the students coming from low income family. They provided it according to the merit list and attendance. Luckily, i was eligible to avail the scholarship. It helped me in my financial needs during my graduation.
