Societies are inactive- there are many societies like enactus, consulting and even placement cell which is not in proper work.

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Is IPCW,DU worth it?

The college societies are restricted in a lot of ways. The placement cell, dance, drama, music societies are very active whereas the other societies are inactive. Since i have joined, constant efforts have been made to revive the societies though.

The placement cell of our college is active. Internship opportunities are floated regularly. The highest package was 24.3 LPA, and the average package was 6.27 LPA for the session 2024-25. The job profiles offered are in finance, sales and marketing, audit, tech, etc. The highest number of opportunities offered is to the students of B.Com (H), Economics Hons. and B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science.

There's a dedicated placement cell of IPCW, named as JEET, which regularly shares updates with students about upcoming internship opportunities. The highest package for the session 2024-2025 was closed at 24.3 LPA, with more than 60+ job offers being offered to the students. After 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The companies visited for the placements are Deloitte , EY etc . More than 30 companies visited. Highest package is 21 lakh for science students and average is 7 lakh. More than 70 percentage students hot placement.

Life at IPCW

Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in 3rd year. Many companies visit the college including the Big 4 companies. Highest package is about 21-22lpa whereas average packages range between 4 to 8 lpa.

Ip college: Heritage meets academics

Ip college offers limited campus placements , primarily focus on skill- building and academic development. Students become eligible for placements in the final year, companies like Deloitte, KPMG , Ernst & young occassionally visits the campus with offering range from 3 LPA ( average) to 7 LPA( highest) for roles in consulting, content writing and analysis.

so about eligibility about the placement I would say that from 2nd years onward we get the form and we are supposed to fill it if you are interested and of course we will get to know the update of the different companies and the criteria for the select selection so delight selected like 16 students from BCom Hons and they got a pretty good Stephen and I also heard about the placement like a part from this internship that it was good they offered good amount so after degree I guess I will take placement it could be on campus or on of campus but yeah I have plans to purse you abroad as well

My IPCW, University of Delhi review

Campus placements starts from the fifth semester, that is from the last year of the course. Different companies like Delloite, IBM, etc visits for placement opportunities and as far as I knew, the lowest CTC in the year 2022 was around 6lakhs per annum. I did my post-graduation later on so I never went through the placement process.
