Course Curriculum Overview

5

Since i am a commerce student so i was very clear that i have to do bcom hons, and bby the grace of god i got it as well. This cource is great for students who are interested in the field of commerce. The course has both theory and practical approached that apply to real life as well. Many students do professional course along with this degree luke CA,CS,CMA,CFA etc.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in 3rd year. Many companies visit the college including the Big 4 companies. Highest package is about 21-22lpa whereas average packages range between 4 to 8 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for bcom hons that i paid for 1st year was Rs.33,500 and that of 2nd year was about Rs. 22000. Examination fees which ranges between Rs.1000-2000 that you have to pay for every semester end exams. As fas as the financial aid is concerned, the college provides financial aid for students with low family income. They need income certificate for that and also they jave to fulfil certain criterias like attendance and minimum cgpa.

Campus Life

5

So the college conducts its annual fest and departmental fests every year where the famous singers ,djs, actors, politicians are invited. College has almost all the facilities like gym, canteen, sports complex, a huge ground, smart class, computer labs, conference hall, auditorium etc. Various sports are also there. There are many societies that do social work as well.

Admission

So i was from the NEP batch so we had to give CUET. I applied for every single college in my preference list and this college was on 18th preference in my list. I got this college in the first round itself and i freezed it because i did some really small mistakes while making my preference list above the 18th preference. So i had to freeze it. But i dont regret my decision because firstly, this college is a north campus college and secondly, i was satosfied with everything about this college. Admission is based on CUET marks. Several lists are released to get admission in DU and depending on your cuet scores and category you are alloted the college based on your preference list.

Faculty

5

The favulty members are quiet great. All the teachers are very well educated, have done their Phd or are doing. All of them are very helpful. The ratio is also good. I can tell about my department, ie the Commerce department. The HOD is helpful, the subject teachers are helpful and they are very experienced. I am very satisfied with the faculty members. There are mainly semester end exams and internals. In internals there are 2 parts namely IA and CA - internal assessment and fontinuos assessment. It depends on teachers how they take it but mainly they are in kind of tests, presentations, group work etc.

Night Life

5

The college is in civil lines. Civil lines is itself a porsche area. So you wont get bored at all. There are many cafeterias like romeo lane ,boa village, civil social, moets. All these places are quite famous. Other than this there is kamla nagar which is just 15inutes away from civil lines. Kamlanagar is a huge market where you will literally find everything from food to clothes to all the accessories, literally everything.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
