What Students Say
Likes
- They college campus is so beautiful and peaceful.
- Placements: The percent varies from 80 to 90, and as I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's, I cannot give you the exact information. But as far as internships are concerned, the internship panel is quite active & offers verified internships.
- Students and faculty members are very good and helpful for the new students too, even tho it's a girls college but it is far better than other dangebaj colleges.
Dislikes
- It is not as prominent as other north campus colleges.
- The principal is not good, as you may heard the Shruti scandal 😴
- Lacks of fun activities like this year's fest was so dull and not fun.
Course Curriculum Overview
my course is pretty decent in terms of learning and understanding the real life aspects. Bcom hons was pretty ranked course in delhi university, it is better course to do. My semester started on like 16th of August and the exams were held on 21 of December 2023 and next sem started on 18th of January and exams were on 22nd of May. The timing in between is pretty decent to learn the things but not for the accounts.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college has the highest fee for the course in terms of other colleges of Delhi University. Likewise the other colleges have like 12000 fees P.A but mine have 32575 rupees plus the hostel fees is incredibly high. The hostel fees is 80000 per semester whereas in ramjas or any other colleges it's so basic like 20000 approx. Mine complete cost would be 10-15 lakhs for 3 years. They do provide financial assistance for the students that are in need. I do received the message for financial assistance but I didn't got any refund of fees yet so I don't know either if they would be providing it or not. They highest placement was 22 lakhs for economics hons last year.
Campus Life
I have very fun life in the first semester, my friends were cool to hangout with but in 2nd sem it was all dull cause' we have been crying over academic. If you wanted to have joyful life then girls college in not good for. People here are tend to be more focused on academics rather than fun lifes like societies, eca, sports. But whole delhi university is definitely a great way to develop and grow overall. You can find many societies, fest, communities, different different opportunities, many known people comes in every other colleges etc
Admission
I took an entrance exam called CUET which you can fill the form now twice a year in samarth portal ig then I applied to Delhi university ug admission portal I got my results, accordingly to that I needed to put preference for my course and stuff. For Bcom hons you need have accountancy as a main domain subject. And I got enrolled in the course for first attempt I scored 660 plus ig.
Faculty
As I am from Bcom hons so in my class the students strength is of 75 and for those students 1 teacher would be allotted per subject but we have tutorials classes in which students can ask their problems and stuff, so it's easier that way. The teacher's are highly experienced, educated and professional, they know how to interact with the students but since it's a college no professor's would look upon you and your work, college doesn't have spoon-feeding, you have to do more of self study beforehand so you won't be left out.
Other Applied Colleges
