Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I'm pursuing Bcom hons ,which is one of the highly competitive course of Delhi University. The cut off of this course is comparatively high than other courses. I'm very much into domain of HR and finance. But after exploring more about this course my interest towards the HR was increased . The curriculum of this course provides me the theory as well the practical knowledge of real World. As we all know we have New Education Policy (NEP) which provides various additional subjects apart from our core subjects like SEC , VAC , AEC . Having these additional subjects are reducing the time of core subjects.

Placement Experience

3.5

The campus of placement of IP college is well good. Average placement package is 8LPA and the highest placement package is 32LPA . The 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte and DeShaw visit every time. But the DeShaw provides only 1 offer . 70% students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees of Bcom hons of IP college is comparatively high. The fees is 32000 in 1st year which gets reduced in 2nd and 3rd year . The financial aids is also provided by the college to the economic weaker section students , the students who have one parent etc. The college provides not so much internships but yes they provide minimum once in a semester.

Campus Life

3.5

My experience with my campus is pretty good. I am the CR of my class and I had the best experience of that. Getting touch with each and every professor was really good. The annual fest of IP college named 'Shruti' was well good. But to be honest from the past 2 years the experience of Shruti was not good. Apart from the annual fest the college has its events, seminars and other conferences to upskill students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facility is nice. But the hostel is comparatively expensive than other hostels. The rooms are pretty spacious and well maintained. Talking about the mess, the food is ok ok and the menu is not so bad. After qualifying the exam and admission in IP college the forms of hostel will put . We have to fill the form in the given period of time. Hostel also provides reservation system . The hostel has pantry on each floor in each wing. Laundry is also provided by the hostel. There are timings of the hostels , sometimes I finds it very strict and inconvenient.

Admission

For taking admission in Delhi University, students have to give CUET (Common University Entrance Test). The cut off of Bcom hons is high . To get top colleges of North Campus each have to score minimum 720+ marks in their CUET. The difficulty level of CUET is moderate . I would not say it's easy but it's also not to hard. A proper strategy and consistency can score you well enough to get top North campus college.

Faculty

4

The one of the good things in college is our faculty. If I talk about the Commerce faculty, all the professors are friendly and cooperative. The teaching way of every professor is unique. Some of them provide handwritten notes while some provide the presentations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.
