The fees for first year btech is the same for every student at around 3 lakh 70 thousand. From second year onwards the fees is dependent on the pursued branch for example, fees for ECE is around 5 lakhs and for it is the same for computer science branches. For streams like Civil it is slightly lower than that. There are certain scholarships:- 1) For people with annual house income less than 8lakhs p.a the fees is about 1lakh 90 thousand each year 2) For students who received good rank in the MET exam they are provided with full tuition fees off given they maintain 8.5 CGPA

Fees and Financial Aid:

The yearly college fees I'll be paying is 5.8 lac. It is higher for the students in computer related branches. The fees does not increase every year but might increae for the 2025 batch. 10k registration fee was asked but it was later included in the tuition fee. No other fee was asked except mess and hostel fees. Various scholarship such a merit cum need, achievers, girl child scholarships exist.

There are available scholarship merits which you get either if your family income is less than 8lpa or if you are in the top 5% of your branch. Scholarship waiver is alot and reduces the fees significantly. Fees also increases every year for new batch. Hostel fees also increases every year, but for everyone.

If anyone fails in a subject even after makeups then he or she will have to pay 12700 to register for that course and sit for the course an entire semester.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I am currently in my final year of Btech in Electronics and Communication and my branch fees is 485000 per year from 2nd year to 4th year and we had 375000 as common for everyone in 1st year and other branches like CS,CCE,IT,DSE,CS ai&Ml have the same fees. EEE has 430000. College also provides 100 scholarship if you get in top 100 of MET(entrance test). Else if you are in top 5000 then you will get a fee waiver of 20%, in 1st year now to avail this every year you need to maintain a CGPA above 8.0

the fee is quite high , 3.2L for tution fee and 1.6L for hostel and accomodations , though the education and equipments which are provide make it feel worth it , and accomodations is also quite nice and cleaned regularly and the fee also includes your health insurance (i.e. you can get free medical checkup and even tests like blood test and xrays that are all covered by the college themselves)

the fee structure keeps on varying from different years and cutoff for scholarship remain the same. if u score less than 5000 rank in met exam u can avail the scolarship and u get extra scholarship based on your performance in the first year and cgpa. the complete cost of education will be around 35lakhs in mit but with many learning opputunities.
