Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum could have been improved more because nowadays colleges need to update and teach with modern technology but most colleges in Btech teach us that same old fashioned technology thats not even in existence

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship offers come around in 3rd year. For me I have done 2 internships one in IIT Kharagpur, where i have written a patent. 2nd in Kabira Mobility, an EV company which showed and thaught me practical life experiences

Placement Experience

4

As i am in my final year our placement season is going on, i cant discuss about that. But i can share last years, last year total 220 companies came for placements and from ECE out of 190 students 140 got placed in good companies and in rest most of them went for higher studies abroad or in india

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently in my final year of Btech in Electronics and Communication and my branch fees is 485000 per year from 2nd year to 4th year and we had 375000 as common for everyone in 1st year and other branches like CS,CCE,IT,DSE,CS ai&Ml have the same fees. EEE has 430000. College also provides 100 scholarship if you get in top 100 of MET(entrance test). Else if you are in top 5000 then you will get a fee waiver of 20%, in 1st year now to avail this every year you need to maintain a CGPA above 8.0

Campus Life

5

In our campus we have numerous clubs and student projects. Student projects are generally the practical applications of what you learn and skills you develop, i was general sectretary of IEE&C club and Electronics and Research head in SWARM ROBOTICS which is a students project, we won renouned all india compitions held in IIT BOMBAY, BITS GOA, IIT DELHI, etc

Hostel Facilities

5

I was in hostel during my 1st and 2nd year and now in my 3rd and 4th year i am staying outside in a 4BHK penthouse flat with my friends, The general rent of a 2bhk is 16-20k, 3bhk id 25-30k and my penthouse's rent is 78k with 6bedrooms. In hostel we get rooms acc to CGPA i had a good CGPA so i was staying in a single ac room with attached washroom, we also have ac double attached bathroom, non ac, non attached bathroom, etc many options.

Admission

For me my rank was 800 but i was adament on taking ECE as i was very passionate about electronics and all, cut to now after 3.5 years i really dont regret at all anything. The cutoff is generally for ECE is 4000

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio is very good like in ECE there are total 220 students who are divided into 4 sections and the ratio of faculty to student us 1:4. Most or atmost all the professors are highly qualified have done phD or masters etc from renowned colleges both in india and abroad

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.
