- The connectivity of college is very good, it's in Bangalore so obviously everything every accomodation is near to us

- Course is very outdated , the teach physics chemistry in first year
- You have to travel a lot in campus to reach class as it's situated in hill
- Hostels are too expensive and they are not worth the price

The placements are decent in the college only for IT and electronics as their average is 9.7 lakh and 7.3 lakh respectively, Those who have 8.5 above cgpa are allowed to sot in high package company Companies that visit are phonepe , pegasystem , Zeta and mass recruiter like Infosys TCS cognizant etc Highest of 2024 is 54lpa and avg of cse is 9.7 lakh but overall is 4 lpa ig Percentage placed ig is 70% And my plan after degree is to get a decent job
What are the internship opportunities in the campus?
Internship are provided in starting of 3rd year , many companies come that time Like Infosys, amd , pegasystem, jp Morgan The stipend is in range from 10,000 - 2 lakh But average would be around 30,000 and many get PPO Also they come till 4th year and off campus scenario in our college is good
Academic structure and examination in the campus
I was always interested in computer so I choose this course The first year subject will not create any impact, butin 2nd 3rd 4th year you will study relevant subject Classes should be more interactive, and ppts should also be made in proper way Exams held in every month which could last for 7 days , they eat easy if you read notes
Yearly fees structure and scholarship in the college
• I am paying 2,81,000 rupees per year and it has to be paid in course of 1 year . Also extra 32,000 is taken as skill lab fee Which will be reduced to 22,000 in 2nd 3rd and 4th year. Skill lab fee is also to be paid every year. •as above said tution fee is 2,81,000 and skill lab fee includes every other charges 32,000 . Students coming from state exam pays nearly 90,000 per year tution fee . They also have to pay 32,000 skill lab fee. Management people fees is 5 lakh per year , they also have to pay donation fee of 18lakhs . People coming from Northeast quota or Kashmir quota don't have to pay any fees infact they get money from government. My batchmates are also paying according to above details. • scholarship are provided to SC/ST or any other reserved category people, they don't have any scholarship for general category, they provide scholarship through NSP

Campus life Is really good , they have two main tech fest vibration and furore which are held in every year They have good number of social clubs around 20 and many great tech clubs which will improve personality Sports are most preffred to local students, and club leader are interactive
Faculty and learning experience in the campus
Not faculties are good and not all are very engaging with students, the teacher to student ratio is around 1:66 , they will solve your doubts if you approach them I liked my English faculty, Mrs Meena Jagdish , she is very interactive, her teaching methods is really good and teaches us up to date topics Our maths faculty is not good , she is old and sometimes don't realate with our thoughts, and classes are booring Course is outdated , and exams are easy if you study from notes . Nearby 20 students failed atleast in one subject
Admission process being in the campus
The college was situated in Bangalore and it has good returns of investment ratio . It has good alumni network as well , I think as compared to other colleges it will be a decent option I applied for government colleges but I didn't get , and other private colleges had high fees . Also I missed some college due to less marks in exam In admission process they will call in college and ask for all hardcopy and some manual form fill in college computers
Night Life
Night life are only for hostel people, they are allowed to move around campus only till 9 pm but for outsiders only till 7 pm Gym fees are high , library and public area are really good Hostel and campus are really good but are expensive Famous hangout is rock garden

Admission to the B.E. courses is granted based on CET and COMEDK conducted by Karnataka Govt. Admission to M.Tech. courses are done through the counseling process after qualifying for the entrance test conducted by VTU. Students having valid GATE scores will be given first preference in the counseling process. The selection of candidates for Ph.D./ M.Sc. (Research) courses is done through the ULRAT entrance test conducted by VTU.

The placement for the years 2023-24 is still in progress. The year 2023 experienced a decrease in placements compared to the year 2022, and the 2024 process is still ongoing. Dayananda Sagar Institutions has a placement cell that coordinates with top recruiters and handles the overall recruitment process. More than 100+ recruiters visit the institute every year for Campus Placements. I didnt applied for much colleges. I have given only jee exam for IITs and comedk. I didnt get good college from jee so i treid in comedk and i got this college from comedk. This college is also good I got not so good college from jee so i applied here. Admission process of this college is to give exam of comedk or kcet or admission is possible through management also but not much seats available from managemeny. In 2024 the cut off of this college in iot course is 7500.

I actually applied for RV college of engineering, BMS College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah College and PES, but I couldn't secure seat there because of my KCET rank and according to my rank I got seat in Dayananda Sagar college of engineering. I choose this college because it is one of the top college in Bangalore and there are good placements in this college. Admission process is simple you can get into college through KCET, COMEDK, DSAT or Management quota but the fee varies for each quota. Lot of students prefer to join through KCET.

- DSCE has a very good and impressive infrastructure. Every core branch has it's own building, which depicts the importance of every branch
- It is a very greenery campus with many trees and plants with flowers in it , which creates a great ambiance in the college .
- DSCE not only concentrate on studies but also concentrate on extra curricular activities which enhances a student's carrier in many fields
Dislikes
- The course fees it a bit in higher side , which affects many students to take addmission in this college
- As DSCE is in the hearts of Banglore, the cost of living will also be in a higher side causing problems for many students
- The continuous internal assessment is a bit irritating in this college as it appears every month and you have to appear for the exams . It seems you have given exam yesterday but again you are giving it today.
Admission:
Admission in this college can be taken from three process - COMEDK, KCET and MANAGEMENT COMEDK is 3 hour exam with 60 questions each of Physics, Chemistry ,Maths. There is no negative marking in this exam and syllabus is of 11th and 12th.

I also got admission JP noida and other colleges of uptac and comedk but chose this college over other because of city and locality of this college. Also it has a very famous coding club that i wanted to be a part of. YOu can take admission in this college through - Comedk,Kcet and Management quota. In these exams you can get admissions in CSE core until 4k to 5k rank.

- The college life is also great as i have make a lot of friends and participated in a lot of events. There are these college clubs which is must join and fests take place in college every semester.
- We have an amphi theatre where events keep happening and the college life keeps going on and on.
Dislikes
- The canteen- we have 2 canteens and 1 foodtruck, the foodtruck is unhygienic and overpriced whereas the canteen again is overpriced.
- The teachers- some of the teachers are very partial and least interested in studying, they jst like to target you sometimes
- The academics and studies, I really don't like the fact tht after 5th sem we are not supposed to come to college at all, basically after 2nd year the classes keep on decreasing.
Admission:
Our college had a very good campus and when I visited the campus before admissions, they had a pretty good student life coz I saw a group of students performing in the amphi, and also the placement record was good. I didn't want to go to a nerdish college like rv where there is no student life, also I didn't wanna go to bms coz their campus was small.
Likes
- College environment I love the way the college is it is absolutely fantastic and I love the greenary in the college and the college has hills within it and a temple and meditation room which is intresting
- The faculties are good and they teach very well and I love the way they teach and they have immense knowledge about the subject and real time experience and have field experienced faculties
- The administrative block is responsive nd pays attention to the students and resolves their doubts and can get concession in fees due to financial conditions
Dislikes
- The college don't have skilled labours the work they do is pathetic and not clean

This college provides good placements and it is much more efficient and scalable it has less fees compared to the other and it also gives good placements and compare to others college campus is big and have less fees and it is best made college for middle class and upper class people

- I like collage because of its huge and versatility in students and yaaa professor are well trained
- Collage conducts more fests and lot off stuff and huge auditorium and there are like 3 audis
- Good environment and lot of space for parking and everything is cool
Dislikes
- Exams fee are more like every year 5000 should be paid
- Revaluation and backlog exam fees are more
- Collage hours are like 9 to 5 and lot to walk from parking to department

First i choose this collage in my own opinion and i choose because its next to my place and even good collage i dont want to compare it to other collage because ours is far better than other collage and as every collage same admission methods noting new

- The campus is good filled with greenery and all. The buildings are also good outside view is good as compared to the interior
- Social interaction is okay unless u are an introvert. The south Indian people are also there so there is communication gap but still it is okay
- They are a lot fests regularly happening which engages u time to time keeping u busy and enjoying
Dislikes
- Campus size is too small. Faculty is not that good. Sports is also not much prioritised here
- Some buildings are good but not at all. Interiors are not maintained properly in many buildings
- Communication gap is there because of south north combination

I chose this college as I thought that Robotics AI branch comes under CS and I have interest in it but furtheer adter coming to college I came to know that it comes under mechanical. I scored 8.2k and could have got any CS affiliated branches but I didnt fill the prefrence order properly. Here CSE cutoff goes around 5000 and CSE affiliated branches like CSD, CSBS, ISE around 9200. Rest ECE till 15000 and Robotics AI till 11000. I also kept BMSCE, MSRIT, RV over DSCE but I didnt wanted lower bracnes in these colleges so I chose DSCE. Rest I was also getting CSE in BMSIT and BIT

Will they give my certificate if I will leave the Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering , Bangalore after the first year?
It can be very difficult to obtain the certificate for a course you left midway. If you are already in college and have recently completed the first year, then it is close to impossible to gain the certificate back.
I have a friend who once encountered a similar situation at the institute.
- In his case whatsoever, the administration, quite clearly, was generally demanding the full tuition fee payment granted for a period of 4 years.
- However, due to a mutual treaty, the amount was reduced from the one demanded before.
- The administration and the family later came to a mutual decision to get things sorted.
- It is best that you either do not intend to join the institute or if you recently have, then it is best to continue the course until the end.
- As it is futile to let your finances go to waste if you do not eventually extract anything out of it.
The choice of obtaining the certificate, either way, can take almost around 6 months to a year, which is outrageous in the first place.
