I can say that the placement opportunities for CSE at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering are pretty solid. The average package is around 10 LPA, and the highest package offered was 56 LPA. The college has a good reputation, and many well-known companies come for placements. It's also worth noting that students can start applying for internships from the 6th semester, which helps in building their resumes for placements later on.

It's quite good. If you're aiming for software jobs, Dayananda Sagar College offers decent placement opportunities. As someone who graduated from there, I've noticed a few things.

  • Major software companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and Wipro often recruit from this college. Just make sure you keep a minimum of 60% in your academics.
  • Back in 2010-11, Infosys usually got the first slot in the placement drive, though that might have changed now. They recruited about 265 students back then.
  • If you're targeting core technical roles, chances are limited here, similar to most colleges in Bangalore, except for a few like BMS, RV, BIT, PESIT, etc.
  • For those in core engineering fields like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Biomedical, participating in pool campus drives at other colleges might be beneficial to get into core companies.
  • The college provides soft skills training and has a good digital lab, which is great for improving your communication skills and technical know-how.
  • You'll meet students from all over the country, which helps in personal growth.

I hope this helps. Ultimately, your success depends on your efforts and how well you take advantage of the opportunities. Enjoy your college life and have fun!

It really varies! When you look at the placements for CSE at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering compared to other departments within the same college, they're quite strong. But if you're stacking it up against colleges like BMS, PES, or RV, then it's not as impressive. Compared to HKBK, it's fantastic. However, if you put it side by side with IIM, it doesn't hold up well.

Thanks for asking.

The placements at DSCE, especially for the CSE branch, are generally quite good. As long as you maintain your academic scores above the set cut-off, you should find it relatively easy to secure a job. Back in 2012, the required percentage was around 60% or 65%, though I'm not sure what it is now.

One thing to keep in mind is the age factor. For instance, a friend of mine was turned down by Infosys in the final round purely because of his age, even though he later landed a job with another company and is doing great. He was older than the company's age limit due to a gap year after high school.

The placement scenario for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is quite decent. From what I've observed, students become eligible for placements starting in the 6th semester. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered recently was around 51 LPA, while the average package hovers around 6-10 LPA. Overall, a good number of students get placed, and there are plenty of opportunities for internships as well.
