Campus Life & Social Engagement : the student community is active and diverse , with events and cultural fests creating a livey atmosphere
Faculty and Mentorship: many students report that the faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable'
Placements: CMRIT has a dedicated placement cell and for most streams , especially engineering the placements statistics are good.

Dislikes

INFRASTRUCTURE: while some parts of campus such as labs,classes and libraries are well equipped,others need improvement for example wifi issue
Classes time : we have classes from morning 8 o'clock to evening 4 o'clock.

only those people can see in placements who passed the all language, aptitude and programming tests. and who haven't any backlog history. top companies- infosys, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant, Dell, etc. highest is 25 lakh - 30 lakh per annum average is: 4-7lakh per annum like TCS, and Cognizant.

Cultural fests , various clubs and facilities in campus

Cultura- the main cultural festival usually held in June, is a highlight of the social calendar at CMRIT, this brings events such as dance, music competitions, dance performances, fashion shows, and a game zone. Inter college fests: there are so many department fests organized by individual departments like cs, mechanical, and electrical, which focus on specific domains.

Fee Structure with Merit-Based Scholarships

The tuition fees varies depending on the course & the entry scheme (management quota, CET, COMEDK) for CET students, the fee is:around 70000-75000 per year. for COMEDK students, fee is: around 1.75 lakh to 2.5 lakh per year. for management quota, the fee is : around 2.5 lakh to 3.5 lakh per year. typically 10k-30k depending on the admission type. Lab fees are around 5k to 10k yearly. miscellaneous fees: registration fees, exam fees and other charges amount to around 5k to 15k annually. the fee may increase yearly by around 5% to 10%, especially for COMEDK and Management quota students. The CMRIT hostel provides both single and shared rooms (usually double or triple), depending on availability. the room comes with basic furniture such as beds, tables, chairs and wardrobes and the hostel management ensures they are kept clean with housekeeping services available regularly.

Faculty reviews and their bond with students

The ratio is typically around 1: 15 which allows for reasonable interaction with the professers. Faculty members are often approachable , especially during office hours, and students can engage with them regarding academics or project related concerns. Faculty students relationship is so positive. professers are approachable and willing to help students with doubts and project work.

When i was researching colleges, i applied to a few institutions, including RV College of ENgineering,BMS college of Engineering. I also explored government JEE exams and colleges. cmrit offered me computer science with a specialisation of artificial intelligence and data science. which was one of the biggest deciding factors

My MBA journey through CMR Institute of Technology

Admission:

No i didn’t apply any other colleges and this college was suggested by one of my friend who is also studying in engineering department as she told that the placements are good. You can take admissions through directly or through writing PGCET exam and there is no admission fee or any other fees that is required to get the admission process. Once you talk to the college administration department they withh send link and other necessary information to confirm you admission and then you can pay the fees and they will block your seats. For MBA you have to Write KMAT or other MBA releated exams to get admission or you can write PGCET exam to get the seat in college as you will have to cmgive the college name in option entry.

The college always has some or the other thing going on for students to take part in. Like in multiple club activities, volunteer work, seminars etc.
Very good campus life so far, necessity requirements are fulfilled.

Dislikes

Small cafeteria area co.pared to the number of students

Admission:

I choose this college due to its placement reports. Easy campus life and amazing feedback from far family and friends. Close to my place and flexible library timings. I hadnt applied to many colleges but among those colleges this was convenient.

The auditorium was good . It was quite spacious.
Library is decent. You can go and study there .
Ground is average . You can play like with average facilities.

Dislikes

Better to look for some other college than to join here .

Admission:

I got confirmed admission in SRM institute of science and technology, chennai ( kattankulathur campus) and kalinga institute of industrial technology, bhubaneswar. Because of high fees and more crowd i rejected these colleges. No , i didn't got any rejection from any other college Comedk is the exam for all in students to get into this college , also there is state level exams kcet only domicile of Karnataka ( Karnataka students). Cutoffs vary year to year. Average cutoff is 14k ~22k ish around

Sports, clubs and events based on them and other out of the comfort zone things conducted.

Dislikes

It's very far for outside state students.

I chose this college because the area of the college where it situated is very good and the faculty here is soo helpful. And the placement and alumni records are strong as well. Our college takes student from all type of process for ex exams like comedk, kcet and with management quota as well.

The classrooms, washrooms, labs, everything is maintained neatly.
Events like Cultura, Aura, Spardha really have the best audience and the campus is always joyful during these events.

Dislikes

lab equipments can be improved with latest technologies
attendance is strictly maintained, though with genuine reasoning they do allow

Admission:

this college is one of the top 10 enginnering colleges in bangalore, with a+++ certification. We are also affliated to VTU which makes it more prestigious. We had to write CET to get into this colleg, other ways are COMEDK, Management.

good library facility with maximum number of books that is required for BE

Dislikes

lifts are not in working condition sometimes
a big and separate courts and ground should be made for games
its a small campus when compared to cmr university

as i told before as i entered this college through the KCET councelling ,for the rank i obtained in the exam i got this college based on my category ,i have no issues with this college . the admission process went smoothly

Likes

Freedom to engage in activities other than academics. Here, opportunities are there for those who yearn for it. Cultural fests, festive nights, inter department/inter college competitions, hackathons, ideathons and what not, all it takes is intrest.

Dislikes

Facilities such ground needs a bit of maintenance

Admission:

After my a levels, I had my sights on a few colleges however I didn't really attempt to get into any of those as they weren't ideal for my interests of computers. Bengaluru is the IT hub of India and CMRIT is one of the best colleges with so the choice wasn't that difficult.
