Study environment is overall decent,good crowd
The cse average placement is around 8-9 lpa
The college also provides for gate and other competitive examinations including foreign studies

Dislikes

The campus size is too small and limited opportunities for sports facilities
The placement opportunities for ece students is very limited
The college lacks on terms of extra co curriculum activities

The reason I chose is this college over other comedk colleges for because of its prime location in banglore.Also by the wnd of counselling this was my only option I tried applying for many AKTU colleges but got rejected due to low percentile in jee mains The mode was admission for this college is as follows Comedk(for non karnataka students) Kcet(for karnataka students) Management seats

Likes

The faculty is supportive and well trained. Mentors are assigned to each and every student for their any kind of help.
Majority students are from CSE related courses. Therefore the coding environment is very good and competitive.
There are many clubs(societies) in the college which keep organising many events related to coding.

Dislikes

There is only one football ground where you have to play every type of outdoor sports in a small part of that ground.
The hostels are expensive. You can find better PGs for that price.

Admission:

I live in odisha. I applied to KIIT, Bhubaneswar and ITER, Bhubaneswar. I got selected for both the clgs in CSE Branch. But i preferred CMRIT over them mainly because of the crowd. The exam conducted by KIIT and ITER is easy to pass. Also the cutoff goes very low. Addition to that, these colleges have a huge number of seats in only CSE branch which leads to degradation of crowd and peer environment. In CMRIT, total intake in cse and related branches if around 1500 whereas in KIIT and ITER, its around 7000-8000. Thus leading to degradtion in peer quality and environment. I was also getting VSSUT ,Burla through my jee mains marks, but i preferred CMRIT over it because of the great opportunity in Bangalore. I have made great connections with different people from different companies in just 3 months and gain a lot of knowledge regarding jibs and interviews from those people. They help me a lot in devolping my skills and make me aware of all required skills for good packages. Even they guide me through changing trends and skills so that i am fully prepared for good placement in my final year. Also I have huge opportunity to get into many startups from 2nd year itself. There are few students in my college who are in 2nd year and have got good 20lpa+ packages in blr.

I liked mainly the ifrastructure and the location
the level of their acedamics is so good.
Teacher are also very cooperative nd deals good with the students

Dislikes

a lot of pressure of writing assignment and files
they give time limit for so much assignments that sometimes feels burden
for pg students there are no functions that sometimes for hostelers ones

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

It exceeded the expectation of the placements training i thought it would be like any other conventuional college but here you are asked to complete one major online course every sem then also the projects so it is quite placement alligned.
the teachers here i thought would all be from kanartaka but you get teachers from north aswell. Nobody discriminates you for speaking any other language instead they are very supportive.
Campus library is extremely good a 2 floored moderns structured brilliuant library.

Dislikes

The college is very strict regarding attendance and other things so that is a minus point .

Admission:

I applied to aktu colleges and colleges through uptac and then some schools like nst and scalar, i dint reach to the final admission in any other college since i was cautious of not wasting my money by paying seat acceptance fees. I choosed this course because i had more confident in this college since it is a banglore college so you get a lot of exposure here. For the ther colleges that i apllied in , I was very close to pying seat acceptance fees in couple of the noida colleges but then i thought banglore would be more pivotal for my career. My college accepts students throught three ways comedk , kcet and management quota. i enterd thorugh comedk quota.

Supportive faculty. Most of the faculty is very helpful and supportive.
College location is great. There’s many eateries and stores around. Even travel is easy because of metro.

Dislikes

Didn’t get a lot of exposure. Not much hands on experience. It all depends on you.
Schedules are long. Classes start really early too.

Admission:

this was honestly my firat choice. My parents were keen on me studying in bangalore itself since we've lived here all our lives. I did get into other colleges but because of location i chose this. I got through kcet at around 12k rank.

College has no transport facilities for students who yravel farther distance.

Balanced and great campus life.

Likes

The college campus is actually very good and hygienic.
The placement opportunities are very good. We will also get a good package through placements
The facilities are also very supportive and helpful in every aspects.

Dislikes

Students won't be allowed inside the campus without ID card.
Hostels facilities should improve in terms of food, hygiene etc.
Sometimes the fees payment is very slow and document verification.

Admission:

I applied for many other colleges. When I visited this college I really liked the campus environment and mostly the placement opportunities given here. I attempted PGCET exam and I got alloted for other colleges and I was interested to join in CMRIT soo I joined this college through Management seat.

The campus engagement and life is very beautiful where you get to enjoy and interact with ever part and aspects of the college. Various events and Hackathon keep happening and there are various club activities that you can take part in
The infrastructure is very beautiful and there is alot of greenery and the classrooms are very beautiful and the quality of teaching is the best where there is not only simple teaching methods but teachers use alot of various techniques.
They help us in alot od aspects with related to personal and professional development and placements are very good where equal and healthy opportunities are given to all. And im also having one of the best time with my friends in college

Admission:

No i didn’t apply any other colleges and this college was suggested by one of my friend who is also studying in engineering department as she told that the placements are good. You can take admissions through directly or through writing PGCET exam and there is no admission fee or any other fees that is required to get the admission process. Once you talk to the college administration department they withh send link and other necessary information to confirm you admission and then you can pay the fees and they will block your seats. For MBA you have to Write KMAT or other MBA releated exams to get admission or you can write PGCET exam to get the seat in college as you will have to cmgive the college name in option entry.

Likes

The college always has some or the other thing going on for students to take part in. Like in multiple club activities, volunteer work, seminars etc.
Very good campus life so far, necessity requirements are fulfilled.
The faculty are well experienced in their fields and teach well.

Dislikes

Small cafeteria area co.pared to the number of students

Admission:

I choose this college due to its placement reports. Easy campus life and amazing feedback from far family and friends. Close to my place and flexible library timings. I hadnt applied to many colleges but among those colleges this was convenient.
