Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission into this course should have passed 2nd PUC/ 12th / Equivalent Exam with English as one of the languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics/ Computers. (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates).
Entrance Exam:
CET/COMED-K/JEE/AIEEE
For Diploma Holders
Diploma Holders in engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Government of Karnataka or its equivalent, are eligible for admission to the corresponding branch of Second Year engineering. Candidates must take the Common Entrance Test (DCET) for Diploma students conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka. Seats will be allotted during the centralized counseling process conducted by the CET Cell.
For NRI & Foreign students
Admission to undergraduate programmes in engineering shall be open to NRI / Foreign candidates who have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination recognized by AIU with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Electronics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study. Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in PCM.

Likes
- My college has two basketball courts,as a national player I am writing this on the top. Though we don't have any coach but we have very good senior and help us to grow more in game .
- Faculty of some subject is very good and explain the concept very well .You can approach them anytime and ask your doubts. They never denies to help.
Dislikes
- Some teachers are strict with attendance and you need to maintain attendance for that particular subject.
- Not a very big campus and have only one yearly cultural fest

If you are coming from management you have pay 6,00,000 per year .For Comedk students,it's 2,93,000 per year for KCET students its lowest probably 1,93,000 per year. You can access various scholarships from government of Karnataka.

- College has good environment to focus on what you want to achieve
- The good part is they give the overview of requirements for placements
Dislikes
- Vtu board affiliated so your score is based on vtu
- Vtu does not focus on real time subjects rather the bird focus on particular knowledge

Scholarship is provided for Karnataka students based on caste and income and college always give you the stupend related internships and also gives you insight about the placements the complete cost of your course through cet per year is approx 1 lakh 20k

- I love the way as the college has zero tolerance over ragging
- The college comes at first when it comes to extra curricular activities and there are multiple oppurtunity here
Dislikes
- The college doesnt have a badminton court and there is no option for us to play here at cmrit
- The college has a water scarcity issue and has been prevailing since i joined here

there are indeed scholarship programs available at our college and there are multiple options to reach out to join the college they are , 1.Management 2.ComedK 3.Kcet 4.NRI exam the ranking has been given according to the expense of the fee

- The location of college is best and the locality is very good .
- Sports facility is very good we have football, cricket , table tennis , basketball and vollyball court in the campus
Dislikes
- Campus is little small as compare to the other college

in every three or four there will be a fees hike . I have fees around 2.5 lakh per year including all extra academic fees charges by the college that will be around 22k to 25k.Now I 'm in third year of my graduation I have one external internship .

- College is good and well maintained. They support for study and sports.
- Good placements, they train from 1St sem
Dislikes
- They remove Mechanical, Electrical, civil branch.
Fees and Financial Aid:
According to vtu fees is 92000 , but college add extra fees around 21000 , total fees Is 112000 per year. SSP scholarship is there , here we get 18000 If you are SC/ST you can get upto 1 lakh .we can apply for education loan also . Now I am in 2nd year I didn't placed. My seniors are palaced with good salary.

- Wholesome student life on campus with a lots of resources to keep students engaged in learning
Dislikes
- The washrooms and sewage plant plan could be improved slightly
- Choices of food items could be increased for hostels
Fees and Financial Aid:
As a student who has joined through KCET, there is no fees hike personally, just a fixed fee of 1lakh per annum. In general the fees hike policy differs from department to department and the route of joining(entrance exams, management, etc). The cost to study AI&DS through KCET General Merit Quota would be 100000/- ruppees per annum. I have availed the leadership award scholarship through the CMR Jnardhana Trust in my 4th sem. It is a merit scholarship that is given out every year. So far, I am yet to sit for placements.

- Campus parking lot is one of the best in Bangalore
- Canteen food is nice we have two floors of canteen
Dislikes
- Washroom conditions can be improved and cleaned more often

The fee policy helps all underprivileged students from various backgrounds get quality education at a much-reduced cost price. Scholarships come from the government in the form of entrance exams such as KCET Or COMEDK and the college also offers special merit to academic achievers, sports achievers, leadership awards, etc.

- Clubs and their various activities and events

- We have many assignments and internals at the same time
- Externals are very hectic sometimes because we come under VTU.

Our college provides many certifications courses and scholarships. The scholarships are for SC/ST, defense children and karnataka students. We have many hackathon and internships which include stipends.
Likes
- Teachers student interaction are very good.
- Faculties are available 24/7 for student help.
Dislikes
- There should be a badminton court inside colleges campus.
- In 1 building, there is no facilities of lift.

Fees are different for different courses which was clearly mentioned on the college website. Scholarships are provided to all possible students who are eligible for that. They informed me through mail about the abstract result of the scholarships. 80% of students get campus selection.
