- Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
- I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
- Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

Applied for amrita , ramaiya college, vishweshwariya college , and pes , overall pes had a better placement ratio than the other colleges along with a better avg placement package The other entrances depended on kcet where my grades were low compared to others also i did get in amrita college but chose pes for the package and placement reasons Admission whn i joined was through PESSAT , kcet , jee and comedk PESSAT wld be the most preferred as it was easier when compared to the other exams , cutoff was around 3k for cse 7k for ece Admission was pretty much straightforward, bring a check and book ur seat when ur name appears on the course selecting board

- Scholarships are great, as students can make their money back on the fees, and scholarships are given out commonly, making the high fees redeemable
- Club culture in this college is probably one of the best in India and really fun clubs are available to be joined. The fest is also very lively

- Academics is prioritised a lot in this college, with no exam breaks causing a lot of academic pressure on students
- Fees is extremely high if joining through PESSAT, and is probably not worth it
- Campus is on the smaller side , but the infrastructure is good

This college holds an exam called PESSAT every year all over India and they send ranks to whoever applied. However the admission is offline so you have bad luck if you're not in Bangalore. However KCET and management is also accepted by PES. I applied in many private colleges but PES is unbeated when it comes to placements, and their core CS course. Most of the colleges I applied to w, I got the wrong course which I didn't want to join, or I couldn't clear the cutoff. PES proved to be the best college among all my options

I chose this college over other colleges die to the campus recruitments and the yearly packages. Pes University gives out the highest campus placements out of any colleges. I didn't get rejected by any other colleges, I just wanted to join pes. The admission process for the college when I joined was through pessat, an sat you have to pass to get in.

- As it's been hardly a month in my new college I don't know much about it.

- Things I don't like is that timings of the college for MCA students and also I don't like that they have started classes for pessat batch in October.
- And they want to cover syllabus for pgcet batch who got admission in December. For that they are conducting extra classes and all.
- Talking about canteens food, it's good only but the pricing is a bit high.
Admission:
I have written pgcet examination which is conducted by government of karnataka every year for those students who want to get in reputed college through government seat. I have also attended that examination and got 1078 rank in it. Based on the rank you got and the caste or category you belong to the seats are allocated to students through counselling. In my first of pgcet counselling I got BMSIT college. But I don't want to go to that college. So I attended second round of pgcet counselling later I got PES University. To get admission in PES University, there are three ways, one through management seat, another through pessat examination which is conducted by PES University itself and last one through pgcet examination which I have gotten addmission. The fees vary for all the seats.

- Faculty Diversity is excellent. All the professors are PhD holders or pursuing PHD currently.
- College Life is amazing. The vibe, the environment, the campus is good. The fests are pretty good as well
- The placement stats are top tier. Good number of companies visit for hiring.
Dislikes
- Fewer number of holidays were given in many occasions.
- There were certain restrictions imposed on the students while hanging out in the campus by the bouncers.
- College car parking fee was expensive. Should remove that.
Admission:
I had applied to VIT, MIT and BITS. Got an admission in all of them. But i chose PES because it was closer to my house and it is also one of the best private colleges in Bangalore with really good placement stats. I got in through KCET admission. The admission process is pretty mainstream.

I applied to christ and st Joseph's. For Christ interview, everything went well but fumbled the last question, and sjcc, didn't get a chance for an interview. To get admission in pes, there is an interview to attend, where you will get selected, there is 50% cutoff for pu board exam.

The Training and Placement centre takes up a number of initiatives like industrial training, campus drive talks for their final year BCA students.
The university conducts a PES University Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) to offer admission to various UG and PG programmes. PES University Course Admissions depends on merit in various national-level examinations like JEE Mains, NATA, CAT, GATE, KCET, etc. PES University offers degree courses through The Ring Road (RR) Campus and The Electronic City (EC) Campus. The Hanumantha Nagar Campus offers B.Com, Diploma courses and Pre-University courses as an Evening College.
Registrations for PES University - [PESU] Admission 2025 are open for various UG & PG programs. Interested candidates can register online @ admissions.pes.edu with a registration fee of INR 1200. Candidates can register for BTech & BArch till June 2025, while the registrations for other courses will remain open till July 2025.
PES University has announced changes to its admission process for the academic year 2025. The PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) will no longer be conducted for B.Tech admissions. Instead, admissions will be based on JEE Main and KCET scores
Admission to all the regular courses are through PESSAT or CET examination. The university considers the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination and in PESSAT examination for preparation of the merit list for various courses.

PES University offers the B.Sc. course in the following specialisations:
PES University was established in 1972 as the PES Institute of Technology, later renamed in 2013. The university is located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. PES (People’s Education Society) University is a private NAAC-accredited university approved by AICTE. The university is spread over an area of 30 acres. PES University Bangalore offers UG, PG, Executive and Research programs in Engineering, Law, Commerce & Management, Architecture, Design, Science & Humanities, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.
The first year fee of the PES University B.Com. is INR 1.51 lacs including 1050 as registration fee. The second and third year fees of the course are the same INR 1.50 lacs. The total fee of the course is 4.51 lacs.
Is any management quota available
Yes, there is Management Quota admissions are available for students in PES University. But they have to pay higher fee in comparison to the students who took admission to PES University via JEE Mains or PESSAT examination.
Yes, B.Sc. Pscyhology course is offered in PES University. However, it is offered in Honors mode. The method of admission to B.Sc. Honors Computer Science is to appear for PESSAT. The per year fee of the course is INR 1.80 lacs.
The first year fee of PES University B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering is INR 4.60 lacs (including Registration fee- INR 10 thousand and Tuition fee- INR 4.50 lacs). The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR 4.50 lacs.
PES University does not offer BCA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It offers BCA in three other specialisations which are listed below:
The first year of Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering is INR 4.60 lacs (including Tuition fee- INR 4.50 lacs and Admission fee- INR 10 thousand). The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR 4.50 lacs. The total fee of the course is INR 18.10 lacs.
The PES University hostel fee varies from INR 1.10 lacs to INR 1.35 lacs per year. The hostel fee increases on the basis of facilities you take in hostel. The hostel rooms are distributed on single and sharing basis. The mess facilitiy is offered three times a day.
PESSAT Slot Booking means to confirm interview dates and time for B.Com. and other courses. You can do it by searching on your web browser. There you will find Slot Booking Option. Click on it and put your logging in details for slot booking.
The MBA classes will start in PES University from July/ August 2024. The exact dates are not available yet by PES University. The dates will be released soon after the conduct of PESSAT Examination (May 25 and May 26, 2024).
