PES University was established in 1972 as the PES Institute of Technology, later renamed in 2013. The university is located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. Admission:
The placement records spoke for themselves and the fascinating infrastructure. The course I got offered was not very lucrative and didn't have a future. There are 3 ways to join are through KCET, PESSAT and through management. KCET counselling happens through the Karnataka Government and the PESSAT counselling happens through PES through those students who have written the PESSAT examinations in a similar fashion. The admission process is extremely smooth and seamless.

This is one of the best college in banglore comparison with others we have good freedom in campus, best support to extra curricular activities, sports too. The reputation that PES University holds is enough to consider PESU as first choice for studies. PESSAT is mandatory for most courses here. A formal interview process is also there but it is not of any note as those who clear the entrance are granted admissions here.

I chose PES University for several reasons. The main factors were the reputation of the Law program, the curriculum, faculty expertise, and the quality of campus facilities. PESU has a strong industry connection, with opportunities for internships, placements, and networking. Additionally, the location in Bangalore, a tech hub, offered great exposure to the legal aspects of technology, which I was particularly interested in. I applied for Christ and got rejected. The entrance test for my college is PESSAT followed by an interview

I have not applied for the other colleges.I have to do bachelor of business administration (b.b.a) so this college I think is the good and appropriate for me . As well as this was nearest to me and the discipline,study quality was good for me. There should be minimum 75 % attendance of students,which is compulsory for the students.

Admission to all the regular courses are through PESSAT or CET examination. The university considers the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination and in PESSAT examination for preparation of the merit list for various courses.

PES University offers the B.Sc. course in the following specialisations:
PES University was established in 1972 as the PES Institute of Technology, later renamed in 2013. The university is located in Bangalore, Karnataka and is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. PES (People’s Education Society) University is a private NAAC-accredited university approved by AICTE. The university is spread over an area of 30 acres. PES University Bangalore offers UG, PG, Executive and Research programs in Engineering, Law, Commerce & Management, Architecture, Design, Science & Humanities, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.
The first year fee of the PES University B.Com. is INR 1.51 lacs including 1050 as registration fee. The second and third year fees of the course are the same INR 1.50 lacs. The total fee of the course is 4.51 lacs.
Is any management quota available
Yes, there is Management Quota admissions are available for students in PES University. But they have to pay higher fee in comparison to the students who took admission to PES University via JEE Mains or PESSAT examination.
Yes, B.Sc. Pscyhology course is offered in PES University. However, it is offered in Honors mode. The method of admission to B.Sc. Honors Computer Science is to appear for PESSAT. The per year fee of the course is INR 1.80 lacs.
The first year fee of PES University B.Tech. Computer Science Engineering is INR 4.60 lacs (including Registration fee- INR 10 thousand and Tuition fee- INR 4.50 lacs). The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR 4.50 lacs.
PES University does not offer BCA in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It offers BCA in three other specialisations which are listed below:
The first year of Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering is INR 4.60 lacs (including Tuition fee- INR 4.50 lacs and Admission fee- INR 10 thousand). The second, third and fourth year fees of the course are the same INR 4.50 lacs. The total fee of the course is INR 18.10 lacs.
The PES University hostel fee varies from INR 1.10 lacs to INR 1.35 lacs per year. The hostel fee increases on the basis of facilities you take in hostel. The hostel rooms are distributed on single and sharing basis. The mess facilitiy is offered three times a day.
PESSAT Slot Booking means to confirm interview dates and time for B.Com. and other courses. You can do it by searching on your web browser. There you will find Slot Booking Option. Click on it and put your logging in details for slot booking.
The MBA classes will start in PES University from July/ August 2024. The exact dates are not available yet by PES University. The dates will be released soon after the conduct of PESSAT Examination (May 25 and May 26, 2024).
Yes, there is an entrance examination PESSAT Examination which you need to clear for taking admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in PES University.
The last date of registring for PESSAT Bangalore Centre online is April 22, 2024. Besides this, the last date to register for candidates from outside Bengaluru was April 14, 2024.
Admissions for B.Arch is based on the NATA score and the 12th/ 2nd PU marks of the candidate (as per CoA norms). The candidate has to register for PESSAT and upload both the NATA and 12th std/ 2nd PU scores on the university’s website. PES University will conduct counseling based on the above scores and the seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates.
The admissions to the PES University is done through PESSAT examination. The application form of PESSAT can be filled out by visiting the official website of PES University. Once you submit it, then you need to appear for the examination for final selection.
When are the admission going to start?
The applications of PES University are expected to be released in October 2024. This is because, in 2023, the admissions were started on October 20, 2023. The last date of registration will fall in April 2025.
The syllabus of PESSAT 2024 is different for different courses. Candidates must know the syllabus of the entrance examination so that they can score well. For B.Tech, the syllabus of PESSAT 2024 will be of the 11th and 12th levels. Candidates need to study the topics of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in 11th and 12th. Candidates should study from their 11th and 12th textbooks to score well in the examination
