My MCA Life : The Real Experience

Fees and Financial Aid:

I did my MCA from PES College Bengaluru during 2022-24. The fees for one year were around Rs. 2,40,000/- and the total fees for two years were around Rs. 4,80,000/- excluding hostel fees. This includes tution fees, lab fees, development fees, examination fees, and all other compulsory fees that had to be paid. The fees were more or less the same for all my batchmates, and it did not increase over the period of time. The college offered merit-cum scholarships to the students.

And they want to cover syllabus for pgcet batch who got admission in December. For that they are conducting extra classes and all.
Things I don't like is that timings of the college for MCA students and also I don't like that they have started classes for pessat batch in October.

Fees and Financial Aid:

I pay tution fee of around 3 lakhs for my 2 years Post Graduation course. In that the yearly would be 1.5 lakhs. Talking about, admission or registration fee I don't have any idea about it because I got admission through pgcet examination which is conducted by government of karnataka. The scholarship that I get is NSP & SSP.

College is so biased for some courses. For some courses they doesn't bother much.
Duration of semesters are too short here.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fee structure of college is like 500000 for complete MCA course. As MCA is 2 year course you have to 250000 yearly. College also provide scholarships to students. If you are in top 20% of your batch you will get CNR scholarship ie 60% of semester fee . If you are in top 40% of your batch you will get MRD scholarship ie 40% of semester fee. If your sgpa is more than 7.75 you will get 1000 rupee.

Another thing i dislike about PESU is their fees structure, it could have been a bit lesser for MCA.

Fees and Financial Aid:

For PESSAT batch the total fees for MCA in PESU is 5 lakhs, which reasonable considering other colleges fees structure, and for the PGCET batch the total fees including the college fees and govt fees is 3 lakhs. Fees structure is fixed and no hike is done, regulations are strict for fees structure. There are many scholarships available from the university like MRD scholarship which refunds 50 percent the fees this is provided to top 5 students who secure CGPA above 9, CNR scholarship which refunds 40 percent of the fees, this is given to top 20 percent students who secure more than 7 CGPA, scholarships are given irrespective of cast, religion and any other facts. Due to being in first sem we I have not undertaken any responsibilities as of now but I will in the future.

The complete cost of education is around 8 lakhs wherein 5 lakhs is for the course and other services include the rest amount .there are no compulsory charges at all 5lakhs 10 thousand is the total for this course. There is MRD scholarship given to tudents excelling in academics.

The college is centred around BTech and BBA, and we don't get that many opportunities

The college provides multiple opportunities to get scholarship. The fee has always been same, for a long time. The University provides two scholarships, MRD and CNR. These scholarships give back 40% and 50% of the fees back.
