- Yeah they are well qualified one proffessor i know he has done both btech and mtech like this many are well qualified another math teacher has very much social knowledge also like he is a member of one national commiteee
- The college provides a wide range of scholarships for merit students excelling in academics.
- I am an 8th sem student and i am proud to say that i have already been placed in a prestigious company with a great package.
Dislikes
- Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
- I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
- Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

- Some parts of the campus were crowded during peak hours which felt tiring.
- A few admin tasks took time and delay made small things feel stressfull.
- There were times when the workload felt high and hard to manage smoothly.
Placement Experience:
Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

- Poor infrastructure like roads with potholes and water clogging during monsoons.
- High academic pressure and strict grading
- placement variability - crowded campus (some people get high packages - not everyone gets a good package)
Course Curriculum Overview:
Strong emphasis on core computer science subjects like OS, DBMS, CN , CC,DSA and OOPS
project based courses built strong technical foundation
curriculum prepares you reasonably well combining theoritical knowledge with labs, projects and hackathons.
improvement upgrade could include more flexibility in choosing core subjects and electives - flexible credit system + option for either internship or research capstone not both
exam frequency every 1.5-2 months - eveluation and exams on the tougher side of things (but well within limits to score if prepared well)

- More Syllabus and hard in exams to complete syllabus
- time management is harder more project based learning

from 5th sem your are eligible for sitting placements
in pesu we get 500+ companies and 2000+ offers in that major amazon,flipkart,apple, jp morgen more.
the highest salary that i seen is 69 lpa package .
meesho offered 58LPA and apple offered 52lpa Packages .
90% students getting placed here

- Infrastructure of the college is too good
- The study plan is customised for each course
- The exam is conducted in Hybrid Method allow the students to either write or type their answers

- The timing is a bit hectic but manageable

The placement option for BSc Psychology is limited as it is expected to complete Masters also. The placement for Masters graduate is very good. It is not only in PESU but in all universities the placement for BSc Psychology students are limited

- The teaching faculty is good. They do spend time explaining things.
- The crowd is brilliant here. Be it seniors or your batchmates, everyone is helpful here.
- The courses are updated in every aspect. They are up to the point and no unnecessary learnings.
Dislikes
- The recreational activities are very limited. 2 fests are held at both campuses, but the quality is not upto the mark.
- Too much competition. Can be said for any engineering college.
- The semester exams are on the more difficult side compared to other colleges '. This does put a dent on gpa.
Placement Experience:
The placements here are exceptional.
You can enter placements from the 6th semester onwards, though you have to have an amazing resume do the talking for you.
Around 200+ companies visit every year and offer the students.
The highest package that went this year (even after recession) was (what I've heard) is above 60 LPA offered by Apple Inc.
The average package even during recession is 12 LPA.
Around 85 precent students eligible got placed.
After the degree I am planning to get placed in a good company.

- I had an amazing life at college enjoyed passed with enough grades etc. The university focuses on constant development to provide the best for the students. Making changes every year
- Where we also had mentors for each student we get constant support. And we were provided with classes for skill development and a lot of guest lectures and hackathons which motivates and sparkes an idea in many individual
- The university takes up a course and tries to give every necessary subject that makes a student ready to understand everything easier that is made simpler and the student is ready for the market
Dislikes
- Due to constant developments and changes for improvement the student sometimes is not able to adapt and keep up and feel stressed
- We needed more activities more support for cultural and sports
Placement Experience:
After 2nd year that is in 5th sem the placements start for the students.
Several companies visit like EY, JP morgan, some banks etc
Very less studnets sat for placements as most are looking for higher education and maybe business some students that sat for placements got an highsest package of around 3.35 LPA (in my knowledge)
Several opportunities are also shown to nthe students that are available in the marked
My plan is to go study further and do any professional course that can help me pursue a career that i want.
As only BCom students placements are not really avaliable as much as some other courses

- college infrastructure is really nice and nice environment
- college is active in sports , hackathons and games
- there is always some event going on for special occasions like dandia nights and other fests
Dislikes
- a bit overcrowding in the electroniccity campus
- very slow internet in electronic city not a friendly place to ppl who come from other states environment wise
- staff is mid and management can always be better , very strict , teachers like to maintain contact with parents so less freedom
Placement Experience:
placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

- The infrastructure and the library .they have the best infrastructure in the city with good facility

Students from 5 semester becomes eligible for campus placement and intership .
Almost 200+ companies visited our college and the number goes on increasing. One of the major companies are :- Google , Adobe , Continental, TCS , Amazon , Meesho etc..
The highest package offered is 40 lpa by the company named meesho
The percentage of students getting placed depends on the branch he is . But on an average about 85 % of the students gets placed.
My plans after getting degree is to pursue higher education in abroad

- plaement process felt somewhat limited,with focus of few major ompanies
- while the curriculum was academicallu sound,it sometimes lacked flexibility
- certain administritavie processes,such as registartion and documanet verification was bit inefficient

placements are soo good in my college,
evryone will get a dectn package
there is lkess probability of student going out asun employed
placemts start from 7 th sem.so woth in 7th and 8th sems everyoine will easily get placed

- The campus was very beautiful and big as they had so many infrastructure.
- The college canteen was good and environment was also good.

- They made us do many assignments and worksheets.
- They made us to do many internships for marks
- For which we couldn't enjoy our college life.
Placement Experience:
We had placements coming from 5th semester such as Accenture, EY, TCS, Morgan Stanley etc. The highest package was 5,00,000 pa, and the lowest was 2,50,000 pa. 65% of students are getting placement. After getting degree, I am planning for employment.

What is your review of CSE at PES University?

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.
Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:
- Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
- Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university.
- Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
- Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
- Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants.
- Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE.
- Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
