COLLEGE LIFE @ PES UNIVERSITY

Likes

We are getting saparate mentors for us to help in all quaries
we have 50+ clubs which is active every week that helps us to improve coding
we have big campus to chill and best connections of alumini

Dislikes

More Syllabus and hard in exams to complete syllabus
time management is harder more project based learning

Internships Opportunities:

we are getting more internships offers from apple , meesho and deshow which is arround 2 lakhs per month and from flipkart is 70000 rs per month and more and except that we have research interns in university which is better option we are having 5 mini projects on every sem and one big capstone projcet in last 2years

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is too good
The study plan is customised for each course
The exam is conducted in Hybrid Method allow the students to either write or type their answers

Dislikes

The timing is a bit hectic but manageable

There are many internship opportunities... The college has tieup with many NGOs, Companies, Hospitals etc. Despite that we can reach out to other institutions which we would like to do internship. There is opportunity to do as much as internship as we would like to. The college provide great exposure to it's students in all possible ways...

Why you should join PESU - pros and cons.

Likes

The teaching faculty is good. They do spend time explaining things.
The crowd is brilliant here. Be it seniors or your batchmates, everyone is helpful here.
The courses are updated in every aspect. They are up to the point and no unnecessary learnings.

Dislikes

The recreational activities are very limited. 2 fests are held at both campuses, but the quality is not upto the mark.
Too much competition. Can be said for any engineering college.
The semester exams are on the more difficult side compared to other colleges '. This does put a dent on gpa.

Internships Opportunities:

Top companies and innovative startups offer a lot of internship offers. They range from Morgan-Stanley to Flipkart and others. The roles range from SDE to basic jobs as well. The stipend range from a few thousand per month to upwards of 80 thousand per month. The university also offers internships in its newly opened Robotics lab from next year. And also in different other areas.

My little View of my college life

Likes

I had an amazing life at college enjoyed passed with enough grades etc. The university focuses on constant development to provide the best for the students. Making changes every year
Where we also had mentors for each student we get constant support. And we were provided with classes for skill development and a lot of guest lectures and hackathons which motivates and sparkes an idea in many individual
The university takes up a course and tries to give every necessary subject that makes a student ready to understand everything easier that is made simpler and the student is ready for the market

Dislikes

Due to constant developments and changes for improvement the student sometimes is not able to adapt and keep up and feel stressed
We needed more activities more support for cultural and sports

Placement Experience:

After 2nd year that is in 5th sem the placements start for the students. Several companies visit like EY, JP morgan, some banks etc Very less studnets sat for placements as most are looking for higher education and maybe business some students that sat for placements got an highsest package of around 3.35 LPA (in my knowledge) Several opportunities are also shown to nthe students that are available in the marked My plan is to go study further and do any professional course that can help me pursue a career that i want. As only BCom students placements are not really avaliable as much as some other courses

college infrastructure is really nice and nice environment
college is active in sports , hackathons and games
there is always some event going on for special occasions like dandia nights and other fests

Dislikes

a bit overcrowding in the electroniccity campus
very slow internet in electronic city not a friendly place to ppl who come from other states environment wise
staff is mid and management can always be better , very strict , teachers like to maintain contact with parents so less freedom

Internships Opportunities:

pesu has strong internships oppurtinies like i mentioned with internship+full time job offers, average and median offers are really good and companies that take part in recruiting are microsoft , apple ibm intel infosys amazon. and stipents starting from 20k to over 2 lakhs

The infrastructure and the library .they have the best infrastructure in the city with good facility
They have good indoor sports activities and playground

As currently I am in 4th semester I don't have much idea about the internship but I have heard from the senior that if the student is not placed in their company then the company provides them the internship which later turns into full time jobs

I appreciate the depth of knowledge demonstrated by many professors.
the campus infrastructure was really good,praticularly the classrooms adn lubrary
i enjoyed campus life and the numerous extracurricular activities

Dislikes

plaement process felt somewhat limited,with focus of few major ompanies
while the curriculum was academicallu sound,it sometimes lacked flexibility
certain administritavie processes,such as registartion and documanet verification was bit inefficient

Placement Experience:

placements are soo good in my college, evryone will get a dectn package there is lkess probability of student going out asun employed placemts start from 7 th sem.so woth in 7th and 8th sems everyoine will easily get placed

PES: Pros and Cons

Likes

The campus was very beautiful and big as they had so many infrastructure.
The college canteen was good and environment was also good.
The classes were pretty good and enjoyable.

Dislikes

They made us do many assignments and worksheets.
They made us to do many internships for marks
For which we couldn't enjoy our college life.

Internships Opportunities:

We have done Social internship at Ngo where we had to do volunteer work. I have also done Corporate internship at CA firm for 2 months and currently I am doing 4 months internship with stipend in a CA firm as an account intern.

the real what’s happening in campus and campus toor

the campus is really good ad good place for study
the faculty are good they teach very well
the ground is quite big and beautiful atmosphere to play

Dislikes

we reach college lately due to heavy traffic
they change section every sem which they have to avoid
we dont have any uniform they have to give uniform

i dont know about the internship i heard that many student gets internships and their salary is also good we have the best internship opportunities compared to ather university or college we got google microsoft and soon
