PES University declared PESSAT 2024 results on May 16, 2024. You can download your PESSAT 2024 results by entering the registration number and date of birth. Based on the marks you have obtained, you will be shortlisted for first round of PESSAT 2024 counselling scheduled on May 25 and 26, 2024.

The eligibility criteria for PES University Exam and admission is a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 from a recognised board.
PESSAT is a common entrance exam conducted for Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy Law and design programs as well. So syllabus for each program is different. The duration of PES University Exam for engineering programs is 180 minutes. Whereas for other programs it is 120 minutes. PESSAT 2024 Result
PESSAT 2024 results has been announced on the official website of the university, i.e., pessat.com. Candidates can check their results online by entering their registration number & DOB.
Candidates must take a printout of the result as it will be needed during counselling. The merit list will be prepared by PES University on the basis of the result. Candidates who have secured high marks will find their names on the merit list. The selected candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be called for counselling. The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of their scores and personal interview.
PESSAT Cut Off
PESSAT cut off is the minimum marks that candidates need to score in the entrance examination to qualify in it. The cut off marks will be released by PES University after the announcement of the result. The cut off marks depend on various parameters and factors such as the total number of candidates who appeared for the examination, the difficulty level of the examination, and the availability of seats:

PESSAT 2024 Counselling
Candidates who are shortlisted will be called for PESSAT 2024 counselling. There are two rounds in PESSAT counselling. Candidates must submit the counselling fee of 500 INR. Candidates have to bring their original documents during the time of counselling. The documents that are required during counselling are as follows:
- PESSAT 2024 Admit Card
- PESSAT 2024 Rank Card
- Mark Sheet of 10+2 examination
- Mark sheet of graduation (if applicable)
- Birth Certificate
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate (if applicable)
- 6 passport and stamp size photographs
- Two demand drafts of 2, 80,000 INR and 5000 INR in favor of “PES University General Fund” that is payable at Bangalore.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their PESSAT 2024 score and personal interview. A short interview will be organized by PES University on the same day of the written examination at the examination center. 60% of seats are reserved for PESSAT candidates for the B.Tech program. The remaining 40% of seats are filled through KCET examination. PES University will give priority to candidates who have qualified PESSAT 2024 examination.
PESSAT Application Form 2024
Candidates can fill PESSAT 2024 application form only through the online mode. The application forms are available. Candidates must be careful while filling the application form as the form will be rejected by the university if there is any mistake.
The steps to fill and submit PESSAT 2024 application form are as follows:
- Visit the official website of PES University, www.pes.edu
- Go to the “New Registration” page.
- Select your course. Enter your name, gender, date of birth, and email ID.
- Click on the “proceed” button.
- Enter all the details that are asked.
- Your registration number will be generated.
- Upload your passport size photograph.
- Select the mode of payment and pay the application fee.
The application fee for PESSAT 2024 is INR 1200. Candidates can make the payment through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (demand draft/Challan). The demand draft should be made in favor of the “PES University General Fund” that will be payable in Bangalore. Candidates who decide to make the payment through Challan or Demand Draft need to submit the Challan or Demand Draft at the following address along with the printed application form:

Candidates must keep in mind that the application fee for PESSAT 2023 is non-refundable.
PESSAT 2024 Slot Booking
Candidates can book the time and date of examination according to their preference during slot booking. It will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Candidates need to enter their personal details for booking a slot. Once the slot booking is done, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes.
Candidates will be able to download their PESSAT 2024 admit card after the completion of slot booking. Candidates have to enter their registration number and password for downloading the admit card from the official website of PES University. Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination if they do not carry their admit cards.
PESSAT 2024 Exam Pattern
PESSAT 2024 Exam Pattern is different for different courses. The examination will be conducted only in the online mode. It will be pen and paper based only for B.Des course. The duration of PESSAT examination is 3 hours for B.Tech and 2 hours for all other courses. Total of 180 questions are asked in B.Tech. In other courses, total 120 questions are asked. There will be no negative marking in PESSAT 2024.

PESSAT 2024 Syllabus
The syllabus of PESSAT 2024 is different for different courses. Candidates must know the syllabus of the entrance examination so that they can score well. For B.Tech, the syllabus of PESSAT 2024 will be of the 11th and 12th levels. Candidates need to study the topics of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics of 11th and 12th. Candidates should study from their 11th and 12th textbooks for scoring well in the examination.

PESSAT 2024 Exam Center
The exam center for PESSAT 2024 is mentioned on the admit card of candidates. PESSAT 2024 will be conducted by PES University in different exam centers in different states. There are total of 34 exam centers for PESSAT 2024 all across India. During filling the application form, candidates can select the exam center of their choice. The allotment of the exam center will be on the basis of the preference of candidates. However, once the exam center is allotted to candidates, it will not be altered by the University.
PESSAT 2024 Eligibility
Candidates interested in appearing for PESSAT 2024 must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. The eligibility criteria are different for different courses. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully before proceeding to fill the application form.
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for PESSAT 2024. The eligibility criteria for the various courses offered by PES University are as follows:
B.Tech Course
- Candidates must have completed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
M.Tech Course
- Candidates must have completed B.Tech/BE from a recognized university in a relevant branch.
BBA Course
- Candidates must have completed their 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
MBA Course
- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
MCA Course
- Candidates must have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Computer Science or Mathematics or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics or Statistics as one of the elective subjects.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.
B.Arch and BBA LLB Courses
- Candidates must have passed the NATA examination for getting admission into the B.Arch program.
- Candidates must have passed the CLAT examination for getting admission into the BBA LLB program.
- Candidates need to upload their NATA or CLAT scorecard while filling PESSAT 2023 application form.
If candidates do not satisfy the eligibility conditions for the respective course, they cannot apply for PESSAT 2024.
