PESSAT Result 2026: Out at pessat.com, Counselling, Cutoff and Rank Card

PESSAT 2026 result has been declared by PES University on a rolling basis — within three days of each exam session. For candidates who appeared in sessions that concluded by May 12, 2026, results are already available at pessat.com. Log in using your registration number and date of birth to download your rank card and check your qualifying status.

From 2025 onwards, PESSAT is conducted only for non-B.Tech programs. Admission to B.Tech at PES University now happens through JEE Main and KCET scores. PESSAT 2026 continues to be the gateway for MBA, BBA, BCA, M.Tech, MCA, B.Arch, B.Des, Law, and several other programs at PES University’s campuses in Bangalore.

PESSAT Result Previous Year Statistics

PESSAT went through its biggest structural change in 2025 — PES University stopped accepting B.Tech applicants through PESSAT. Before this, B.Tech was by far the largest share of PESSAT applications, making it one of Karnataka’s notable private engineering entrance exams. From 2025, PESSAT serves only non-engineering programs. The table below tracks this year-on-year shift.

The removal of B.Tech from PESSAT in 2025 is the single biggest shift in the exam’s history. Most candidates who used to appear for PESSAT for B.Tech now route through JEE Main or KCET instead. For non-B.Tech programs, demand has stayed consistent — PES University remains a strong preference for management, law, design, and technology courses in Bangalore. Competition for MBA and BBA seats at the Main Campus in particular has held steady year on year.

How to Check PESSAT Result 2026

PESSAT 2026 results are available online. You need your registration number and date of birth to log in. Here are two ways to access your result.

Method 1: Via pessat.com (Recommended)

1. Go to pessat.com
2. Click on the Login or Results link on the homepage
3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
4. Click Submit
5. Your rank card appears on screen — review your section-wise scores, total score, and PESSAT rank
6. Click Download to save the rank card as a PDF
7. Take a printout — you will need the hard copy for counselling and document verification

Method 2: Via pes.edu

1. Visit pes.edu
2. Navigate to Admissions and look for the Announcements or Results section
3. Find the result link for your program category
4. Enter your login credentials
5. Download and save your rank card

PESSAT 2026 Rank Card: What It Contains

Once PESSAT 2026 results are declared for your session, your rank card is available to download from pessat.com. Keep a printed copy safe — you need it at the time of counselling and document verification at PES University. Here is what the rank card includes.

• Candidate’s full name
• Registration number / Roll number
• Date of birth
• Program applied for
• Exam date and session
• Section-wise scores — marks obtained in each test section
• Total score
• PESSAT 2026 Rank — your overall merit position
• Qualifying status — Qualified / Not Qualified
• Category — if applicable (SC / ST / OBC / PwD)

Cross-check all personal details on the rank card against your original application immediately after downloading. If you spot an error — wrong name spelling, incorrect date of birth, or wrong program — report it to PES University admissions at admissionsupport@pes.edu before the counselling date. Corrections after counselling begins may not be possible.

PESSAT 2026: Qualifying Marks

To be eligible for PESSAT 2026 counselling, you need to meet the minimum qualifying criteria set by PES University. The criteria have two layers: you must cross the section-wise minimum in each individual section, and also meet the overall minimum total score. Qualifying gets you into the counselling pool — but actual admission depends on your rank and seat availability in your chosen program.

The exact section-wise minimum marks and the qualifying total score are published in the official PESSAT information brochure on admissions.pes.edu. Different programs have different test papers, so qualifying marks may vary slightly by program. If you did not qualify, you are not eligible for PESSAT-based admission to PES University and cannot be waitlisted through this route.

The PESSAT rank card will explicitly state whether you have qualified or not — you do not need to calculate it yourself.

What After PESSAT Result 2026

Once you have your PESSAT 2026 rank card, the next step is counselling. PES University runs the process offline at its Bangalore campuses. Here is what you need to do, step by step.

Step 1 — Confirm your qualifying status
Download your rank card from pessat.com and check whether it says "Qualified." If you have not qualified, you are not eligible for PESSAT counselling. There is no provision for re-evaluation of PESSAT scores.

Step 2 — Register for counselling
Visit admissions.pes.edu and register for the counselling round you want to participate in. Round 1 already happened on May 25–26, 2026. If you missed it, watch the official website for Round 2 (expected in June 2026) and Round 3 (expected in July 2026) announcements.

Step 3 — Attend counselling at the campus
PESSAT counselling is offline — you must be physically present at PES University on the day. Carry these documents:

• PESSAT 2026 rank card — printed copy
• Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate — originals and photocopies
• Class 12 / qualifying exam marksheet and passing certificate — originals and photocopies
• Transfer Certificate (TC) from your last institution
• Category certificate, if applicable (SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PwD)
• Passport-sized photographs — at least 6
• Government-issued photo ID — Aadhaar, PAN, or passport

Step 4 — Choose your program and campus
Based on your PESSAT rank, you will be shown available seats across programs and campuses. You choose the combination you want from what is open at your rank. Seats at the Main Campus (RR Nagar) typically fill faster than at the Electronic City Campus.

Step 5 — Pay the admission fee to confirm your seat
After selecting your seat, pay the required fee to lock in your admission. PES University publishes the full fee structure on admissions.pes.edu. The payment mode and deadline are communicated at the counselling venue. Failure to pay within the deadline forfeits your seat to the next candidate on the merit list.
