The SNAP 2025 Test 1 Slots 1 and 2 have been successfully conducted in 2 slots on 6th December 2025 in CBT mode at designated test centres in 80 cities across India. The difficulty level of the SNAP 2025 Test 1 across both sections was easy to moderate.

The exam had 60 MCQs in 60 minutes, covering General English (15), Analytical Logical Reasoning (25), and Quantitative Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency (20).

As per Ketan Sir from C2C Mentors, both slots of the SNAP 2025 Test 1 were easy, required accuracy and good time management, with overall good attempts around 38–44 out of 60 questions.

  • Quantitative Aptitude (QA + DI/DS): Easy – mostly arithmetic (TSD, TW, Percentages, P&L) with one small DI set; very few algebra/geometry questions. Many finished in ~18–20 minutes. Good attempts: 14–16.
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning (A-LR): Easy–Doable – number series, blood relations, linear arrangement, coding-decoding, and basic CR (assumptions, course of action). Only a couple of tricky ones. Good attempts: 16–18.
  • Verbal Ability (General English): Easy – vocabulary and basic grammar dominated; WS, direct–indirect speech, synonyms/antonyms; no long RCs. Good attempts: 12–14.

SNAP 2025 Preparation Plan

Preparing for SNAP 2025 requires a focused and exam-specific approach since it’s a speed-based test with only 60 questions in 60 minutes. Here’s a concise, SNAP-oriented plan:

  • Understand the pattern: Cover all three sections: General English, Quantitative-DI & DS, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
  • Prioritize accuracy over attempt: With negative marking of 0.25, avoid random guesses.
  • Practice sectional balance: Spend more time on Quant and LR, as they carry higher weightage.
  • Revise key topics: Grammar rules, arithmetic, and reasoning puzzles appear frequently.
  • Take SNAP-style mocks: Practice the official SNAP mock tests on snaptest.org to get real-exam familiarity.
  • Analyze and improve: Track performance after every mock to refine timing and accuracy.
  • Stay consistent: Short, daily practice sessions yield better results than long, irregular study hours.

Remember, SNAP is not about how much you know but it’s about how quickly and correctly you apply it.

When it comes to MBA entrance exams in India, candidates often prepare for multiple tests like SNAP, CAT, NMAT, and XAT simultaneously. While these exams share a common goal that is entry into top B-schools, their structure, duration, and scoring methods differ significantly.

The SNAP Exam stands out for its shorter duration, multiple attempts policy, and speed-based approach, making it ideal for candidates who prefer concise tests that emphasize accuracy under time pressure.

Ques. How can I improve my chances of getting into a top Symbiosis institute?

You can improve your chances of getting into a top Symbiosis institute by performing well in the SNAP 2024 exam, and in the Group Exercise and Personal Interaction (GE-PI) round. The cutoff for SNAP 2024 is not yet released.  I have listed below the expected cutoff percentile of SNAP 2024 for the top 5 Symbiosis Institutes: Name of institute Expected SNAP Cut Off 2024 (Percentile) SCMHRD, Pune 97 SIBM, Pune 98 SIBM, Bangalore 90 SIIB, Pune 93 SICSR, Pune 82 Here are some tips to study for SNAP 2024, in order to score a high percentile: Understand the Exam Pattern: SNAP has three sections, namely, Verbal Aptitude & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Make yourself familiar with the questions asked and the marking scheme. For this, use previous years’ papers. Strategize a good Study Plan: Give more time to the sections which you find yourself weak in. Study for short spans, but be very consistent in your study time. Don’t spend all your day in just one section, allocate time to every part so that you do not become overwhelmed by studying the same things.  Take Mock Tests Regularly: By practising mock tests you’ll become habitual to the exam pattern, and your time-management skills will also improve. Regular Revisions: Revisions are a great way to brush up on your learnings and to avoid stress once the exam date is near. Stay up-to-date on Current Affairs: Current Affairs aren’t an important part of SNAP, but staying up-to-date on recent developments may help you answer comprehension passages in the Verbal Aptitude section.  Practice Time Management: Try to solve practice papers within the stipulated exam time for SNAP. When you sit for the SNAP exam, do not waste a lot of time on a question you don’t know the answer to, instead, come back to such questions once you finish the rest of your exam.  With hardwork and consistency, you’ll surely score a high percentile in SNAP and get admission into a top Symbiosis Institute for your MBA degree. ...Read More
