Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has commenced the registration process for the SNAP Entrance Test 2024. The application procedure involves uploading a recent photograph, completing the application form, and remitting the non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee of Rs. 2250 (plus applicable taxes). Every year, more than 1 Lakh students register for this entrance exam for admission to MBA in 17 colleges affiliated to SIU. This exam is comparatively easier than CAT exam which is also conducted for admission to MBA in IIMs and other top business schools. You will get a total of 60 minutes to write the exam, however, there is no sectional time limit in this exam. Based on the score vs percentile analysis of the past year, you need a score above 37 to get a 99 percentile and above.

How can I register for the exam?
You need to register at snaptest.org to create your exam login ID. Yo have to use your generated login credentials to complete the application process. You need to upload a scanned image of your passport-size color photo. The registration will be complete after the payment of the application fees. You cannot change the details such as name, date of birth, city of proof once the dues have been paid. Therefore, before making the final payment, you should carefully check all the details. In case you forget your login password, you can visit the officiaal website and click on the ‘Registered Login’ link. By clicking on the “Forgot UserID/Password” option on the registration page you can get the reset password link through an email or SMS.
What criteria do I have to meet to appear for the this exam?
You can register for the exam only if you fulfill the below eligibility criteria
- You must have obtained your undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
- If you belong to the general category, you must have obtained at least 50% in the undergraduate degree.
- If you belong to the SC or ST category, you must have obtained at least 45% of the marks in the undergraduate degree/certificate.
- Candidates who have studied in a foreign (international) university are also eligible to apply. They have to obtain the AIU certificate (Association of Indian University) to be able to fill out the application form.
- Those who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for this exam.
What will be the exam fee?
The exam fees is INR 2250 per exam. The registration fees can only be paid either through online or offline methods. Candidates opting to pay online can choose any of the following methods:

If you are willing to pay the fee through Demand Draft (DD) can do so by submitting a DD of INR 2250 per exam. This can be done from any national bank at Pune.
What is the exam pattern of SNAP 2024?
The question paper will be as per the below-mentioned exam pattern defined by the authorities. There will only be multiple-choice questions and the total number of questions will be 60. The time to solve the questions will be 1 hour.

What marking scheme SNAP will follow in 2024?
The total marks are 60 and for each correct answer, you will be awarded +1 mark and ¼ marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. However, no marks are awarded or deducted for any unattempted question.

How can I be prepared for the SNAP exam?

Snap 2024 Mock Test
The mock test will be released by SIU on the official website. The authority releases 3 mock tests every year. SIU lso awards vouchers to the top scorers of SNAP mock test. each of the top 3 scorers is awarded an INR 1000 Flipkart voucher. Each of the next top 5 scorers is awarded an INR 500 Flipkart voucher.

When can I expect SNAP result will be out?
The result date is expected to be in January 2025 and it will be released for the 3 exams on the same date. The scorecard provides the candidate’s overall and sectional scores and percentile.
There is no revaluation or rechecking allowed of the results. To check the result you need to visit snaptest.org website and click on the ‘Download Scorecard’ tab. You have login with your login credentials to view and download your scorecard.
Soon after the announcement of the result, the participating colleges will start their selection process. The selection process includes GE (Group Exercise), PI (Personal Interaction), and WAT (Written Ability Test). In preparing the final shortlist post all the selection rounds, 50% weightage will be assigned to the exam scores, 30% to PI, and 10% each to GE and WAT.

Ans. The exam is held for admission to postgraduate management or master's programs offered by Symbiosis International and its affiliated institutions. Work experience is not mandatory to register for SNAP. However, during the admission selection process for MBA programs, preference will be given to those students with relevant work experience.
SIBM offers admission to its MBA programs based on the merit of SNAP followed by GE-PIWAT process that includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test. Students seeking admission must also have completed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.

There are no limits in attempting SNAP exam. However, you are allowed to take SNAP only two times in a year.
