No, SIU does not release SNAP answer key for any SNAP session. Unlike other MBA entrance exams, you will only get the SNAP scorecard after exam.

Symbiosis International (Deemed) University calculates the SNAP score using the official marking scheme:

• The SNAP 2025 exam carries a total of 60 marks.
• For each correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
• For each incorrect answer, 0.25 mark is deducted.
• The marks obtained across all sections are added to calculate the raw score, which is then scaled down to 50 for final candidate selection.

This scaled score is used to prepare the SNAP percentile and shortlists for further admission rounds.

• Shortlisting: Based on SNAP percentiles, individual Symbiosis institutes (like SIBM Pune or SCMHRD) will release their respective shortlists for further rounds.
• Selection Rounds: Shortlisted candidates must participate in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT) starting in February 2026.
• Final Merit List: The final admission offer is typically calculated with 50% weightage given to the SNAP score and 50% to performance in the GE-PI-WAT rounds.

Once the scorecard is downloaded, ensure the following details are accurate:

• Candidate's Name and Roll Number.
• Sectional Scores (English, Analytical Reasoning, and Quant).
• Overall Scaled Score and Overall Percentile.
• Photograph and Signature clarity.

After the results are declared, the Institutes will shortlist candidates based on SNAP percentiles.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for:​

• Group Exercise (GE)
• Personal Interaction (PI)
• Written Ability Test (WAT)

These selection rounds generally start in February-March 2026 for final seat allocation.

While exact cutoffs vary year-to-year depending on exam difficulty and competitor performance, here’s a general guideline from analysis and trends:

• Top Tier Institutes (e.g., SIBM/SIMR): Aim for 42+ raw score
• Mid Tier Symbiosis Colleges: 36-41 range
• General Eligibility for Shortlisting: 30+

The higher scores typically place you in percentiles above 95, which is a common minimum for calls into elite MBA programmes. 
 

SNAP 2025 was conducted on three dates (Dec 6, 14 & 20, 2025). If you appear in more than one:

• Only your best raw score and corresponding percentile will be considered for the final result.
• There is no separate normalisation process across these tests; the highest accepted score is used.

As the SNAP 2025 result will be declared on 9 January 2026, your score will be valid till the end of the 2026–27 admission cycle. To apply for admissions targeting 2027–28, you must take SNAP again in the 2026/2027 cycle.
