The exam pattern consists of Analytical & Logical Reasoning, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation & Sufficiency. Questions will be asked from these sections and there is no sectional time limit in this exam. Therefore, students will have the freedom to choose any section to attempt first at their convenience. Candidates are allowed to appear in this exam 3 times and the highest marks will be considered for final percentile calculation and there will be no normalisation.

SNAP Exam Duration

How much time will I be given to complete the SNAP 2025 exam?

The exam duration will be 60 minutes and there is no sectional time limit in the exam. You can choose sections at your convenience. You will be given a total of 60 questions and 60 minutes to complete it. Therefore, it can be said that time management can be a serious issue for you as only 1 minute can be allocated for one question.

How many sections are there in the SNAP 2025 exam?

There will be three sections which include General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Questions will be asked from each section and attempting all the questions is mandatory. The Analytical & Logical Reasoning has the maximum weightage as a maximum number of questions are asked from this section.

SNAP Exam Mode

Which mode of exam does SNAP follow?

SNAP is a computer-based test (CBT) so there is no offline option to attempt the exam. Before 2017, the exam used to be conducted offline but after 2017 it only followed the online mode. The exam conducting authority will guide you in each step of the examination. You are advised to start preparation by practising via an online test series to be prepared for the online exam mode.

What can be the difficulty level of the SNAP 2025 exam?

Based on previous years’ trends, the level of difficulty can be assumed for the SNAP 2025 exam. The Quantitative, DI & DS paper will be tough whereas the General English paper will be easy to moderate. The difficulty level of Analytical & Logical Reasoning will be easy. So it is expected that the overall paper will be moderate.

Ans: Yes, you can appear for the exam this year as you are allowed to appear for this exam three times. In that case the higher marks will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalisation.

The SNAP 2024 result will be declared on January 8, 2025. Most of the Symbiosis Institutes do not keep their application forms open till the day of SNAP result declaration.  SIBM Pune, SCMHRD, and a few others close their application forms prior to the exam date. Yes, merit scholarships are available for students admitted through SNAP. These freeships (0 tuition fee) are available to MBA students at all the institutions under SIU.  There are two kinds of such scholarships, and the eligibility criteria for these are- A merit scholarship is awarded to students who clear the SNAP exam and join a Symbiosis Institute. The top 0.1% of SNAP candidates are eligible for this scholarship. For students with 3 GPA in their respective semester, a merit scholarship is awarded in the next semester. The students with zero backlog till the time they are awarded this scholarship, are the only ones eligible for it.
