MICAT 2025 exam details have been released by the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad. As per the notification released by the institute, students can register for MICAT 2025 (I) starting from September 2024 till November 22, 2024 at 11:50 pm. Students registering on or before 22 November will be issued MICAT 2025 admit cards on 4 December 2024. Moreover, students can apply for MICAT 2025 (II) from November 25, 2024 to January 11, 2025 at 11:50 pm. As per the notification released by MICA Ahmedabad, the weightage for GD and PI have been reduced.
MICAT 2025 exam dates for Phase I and Phase II are out on the official website mica.ac.in. MICAT Phase I exam will be conducted on December 7, 2024 and Phase II on January 25, 2025. The registration process for Phase I started on mica.ac.in. The first phase of registration will end on November 22, 2024. Admit card will be issued on December 4, 2024 for the Phase I exam. To be eligible for MICA Ahmedabad PGDM programs, you'll need to take the MICAT exam along with a valid score in CAT, XAT, or GMAT.
MICA Ahmedabad also released details about the second phase of the MICAT exam (MICAT II) including its dates and timelines along with the Phase I announcement. MICAT 2025 Phase II registration will be from November 25, 2024 to January 11, 2025. The admit card will be issued on January 22, 2025. The format, syllabus, and test structure remain the same for both phases of the MICAT exam. You can choose to take either or both phases of the exam. To be eligible for GE & PI Rounds, you have to clear the Psychometric test. It will assess your behavioral and psychological traits before you attempt aptitude test in the MICAT exam. Using the MICAT Psychometric Test, the institute determines whether a candidate is a good fit for the programme or not. The questions in the Psychometric Test section may have two or more options among true or false. Answers marked by a candidate in each question will help analyse candidate's readibility to pursue the PGDM course from MICA Ahmedabad.
After that, your XAT/ CAT/ GMAT Scores and MICAT scores will be considered. At last, your scaled score will be calculated. If qualified, you will receive a call for GE & PI Round. MICAT 2025 Admission will be based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT Scores, MICAT Scores, and GE & PI Round.
There are only 180 seats that are to be filled through the process of counseling, so students must be focused once the merit list is released by MICA Ahmedabad. There are two ways of selection:
- 10% of the seats are filled on the basis of “spot allotment”

What is MICAT?
MICAT is an entrance test conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad for admission into PGDM-C (Post Graduate Diploma in Management Communications) and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) courses. The exam is conducted in two sessions- MICAT 1 and MICAT 2 across 48 MICAT Exam Centers in India. MICAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, with the 10+2+3 system, or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- They must also have valid scores of any one of the national level management tests, namely, CAT, XAT or GMAT onwards to be eligible for MICAT 2025.
- Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the test.
- Foreign Nationals/ NRI’s need to have a valid GMAT score (600+) taken after 2012 and a passport.

- Fill in details such as Applicant name, mobile number, email address, security code and agree to the terms & conditions

- Login as “existing user” and fill the application form

MICAT 2025 Admit Card
MICAT I Admit Card will be available for download on December 4, 2024 and MICAT II Admit Card will be available on January 22, 2025. MICAT 2025 Admit Card can be downloaded till the exam day in online mode only from the official website – mica.ac.in. The steps to download the admit card of MICAT 2025 is given below:

- Log-in using registered id and password which was auto-generated during the registration process.

MICAT Marking Scheme 2025
The total marks of the MICAT paper are not declared by MICA Ahmedabad. There is no negative marking for Section 1 and Paper 1 of Section 2. Paper 2 and Paper 3 have 25 percent negative marking in case of wrong answers.

Most candidates enrolling in PGDM-C do not hold any prior work experience (39%). This is followed by candidates with 13-24 months of experience (28%). Candidates with an experience of 61-72 months is mere 1%.
Scholarships at MICA Ahmedabad
MICA Ahmedabad started offering scholarships from 2014 onwards. This was to encourage the students of lower income groups to apply to MICA Ahmedabad and its programmes. MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships are awarded based on the students overall academic performance and family income.
The criterion for selection is based on:
- Students academic performance and class attendance record
- Family Background
- Family Income not exceeding Rs. 5 lacs per annum
- Scrutiny of Income-Tax Returns and Bank Statements of previous years
- Other achievements
The Selection Process involves:
- Notification & Announcement among students inviting applications
- Preliminary scrutiny of applications and financial documents by a Special Committee
- Interview & Interaction with the shortlisted students

In all 11 Scholarships are awarded which include 5 from the PGDM(C) – 1st Year, 5 from the PGDM(C) 2nd Year and 1 from the CCC programme. Each account for 30% of the annual fees per student in the programme. The total funds set aside for this noble cause is INR 20-25 lacs with each of the 11 students chosen standing to receive INR 2.00/2.25 lacs (approx.) by way of scholarship.

MICAT 2025 Result
- MICAT 2025 Result will be declared three times, twice after the MICAT written tests and the final result after the GD & PI rounds.
- MICAT I Result will be released on December 20, 2024, and the MICAT II result will be out on February 14, 2025.
- MICAT 2025 Result can be viewed online mode. On the basis of the written result, candidates will be called for further admission rounds.

Ques. If I gave MICAT 2025 ( I ) exam in December 2025, then do I have to write MICAT ( II ) also, or only one exam is valid?
Ans. Better of the two MICAT 2025 Scores are considered. A candidate may choose to write both MICAT I & II.
Ques. I could not write MICAT 2025 ( I ), but I want to write MICAT ( II ). Is there a provision to adjust my application fee from MICAT ( I ) to MICAT ( II )?
