About PESU B.Tech
PES University in Bangalore offers a four-year, full-time B.Tech in six branches, with 2,400 first-year seats across its Ring Road and Electronic City campuses. You get in through KCET counselling, or through the PESU Merit Quota on a KCET or JEE Main rank. PESU B.Tech Fees
The fees without hostel is INR 22.10 Lakhs for the Computing group, INR 20.10 Lakhs for ECE and INR 18.10 Lakhs for the Core and Biotech group. PESU B.Tech Eligibility
You need 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Class 12 for a PESU seat. For a KCET government seat, KEA asks for 45%, or 40% for reserved categories. Every branch uses the same marks rule, and you need a KCET or JEE Main rank as well.

PESU B.Tech Admission Process
There are three ways in: KCET counselling, the PESU Merit Quota and the Management Quota. KEA fills the government seats on your KCET rank, and the university fills Merit Quota seats on your KCET or JEE Main rank in its own counselling. You pay the first-year fee at counselling, or you lose the seat.

Computer Science is the toughest branch at a KCET round 1 close of 934 and costs INR 22.10 Lakhs, and Biotechnology is the easiest at 6,210 and costs INR 18.10 Lakhs. Six branches share one exam route and one placement cell, but not one fee. The university does not publish seats by branch. Every branch name below opens its own course page.

PESU B.Tech Placements
The Class of 2025 had a median pay of INR 13.05 LPA, and 1,068 of its 1,526 graduates were placed, which is 70%. Another 258 went on to higher studies. The median was INR 12 LPA for the Class of 2023. These are the university's own NIRF figures for all B.Tech branches together.

PESU B.Tech Scholarships
The Prof CNR Rao Merit Scholarship takes 25% off the next year's tuition for the top 2% of students with a CGPA of 9 or more. The Dr MRD Merit Scholarship goes to the top 20% with an SGPA of 8.5 or more. Both depend on your marks at PESU. The Central Sector Scheme adds INR 12,000 a year if your family income is up to INR 4.5 Lakhs.
