The annual tuition fee was 2,95,000The annual tuition fee was 2,95,000 an addition to this students are required to pay a non-refundable security deposit of 10,000. The registration fees for the exam is 2000 and for every attempt fees of ?1500 has to be paid, the maximum number of atoms allowed are two. The scholarship opportunities or The scholarship opportunities for Konakani speaking students, SAGES ie., students who have graduated their PUC from AGE colleges. There is merit cum scholarship for students whose parents annual income is below three lakhs that is hundred percent and for parents annual income below 12 lakhs10% of scholarship is given. Coming to the hostel fees. It ranges between 95,000 to 1,75,000 depending on double/single/triple occupancy and non-AC and AC rooms. This includes the hostel and mess fees if any student wishes to leave the hostel after second year the amount pending in the hostel account is refunded within one month.

Year wise tuition fees that I had to pay is 431000 For each branch it varies , i was in EEE so that was my fee Obviously scholarships are available as per rank of the student and even merit cum need is available
Likes
- The campus is decent, really great clubs and student projects, you can do a lot, everything’s close by, services provided by the hostel are good enough, bathrooms are clean, classes are good and fully air conditioned.
- The library is great, you’ll get many reference books and it’s a good place to upskill yourself, we even have an innovation centre so that’s that, and well the student projects are killer, they make you work quite a lot but I feel that it’s worth it.
Dislikes
- Classes are boring, teachers are okayish, but they kinda kill your interest especially the electronics and mathematics prof but then there are good teachers too it’s just your luck tbh. Don’t get distracted it is very easy to get distracted.
- When you get here call a car rental service since Ola and Uber don’t work here and the autos are kinda expensive.

See to be very honest, this is one con of Manipal, it's expensive, the fee for one year ranges from 3.5 to 8 lakhs per year (CSE branches being relatively expensive). There aren't any hidden fees, everything is included in the main fees, so to avail scholarship there's one based on income, ig below 8lpa, you'll get a scholarship and then there's another one if you get a rank below 1000.

The first year fees is common for all electronics branches which is 335000. After this the 2nd year fees varies from 335000 for electronics and instrumentation to 502000. The total fees of electronics and instrumentation for 4 years is 1301000

- I appreciate the beauty of manipal and the scenery .It has lots of trees ,perfect weather and very often rains here .The campus is huge around 300 to 350 acres .It has a good girls is to boys ratio ,roughly one is to four
- Making friends in Manipal is easy as it has lots of student clubs around and their are chances to meet like minded friends.Faculties are good here some of them are experts in their domain as well .So its easy to pass if you study well.
Dislikes
- I dont like party culture ,alcohol and stuff like that .Since manipal has a lot of pubs .One must not go near student plaza cuz on weekends people make it dirty by puking and stuff .I once had a lot of problem so thats what i disliked
- Stuff is expensive here and sometimes some places ,night canteens sell stuff above mrp which is expensive but cant really help.

1st Year = 325000 This is the tution fees Caution Deposit = 10000 This is paid to the college at the start when you select your branch in order to allot a seat 2nd Year = 431000 This is 2nd year fees which i paid 3rd year = 430000 this is the third year fees which i paid 4th year = 430000 (may vary a bit) This would be same or vary a bit this i will be paying next year

Indian student has to pay around 15,00,000to 20,00,000 fees for four years. Following is the detailed fee structure: Annual tuition fee : 420000 Hostel fees : 130000-135000 Security deposit : 10000 There are various scholarships at Manipal university such as merit based scholarships , and need based scholarship. The fee was little less in first year but has increased for second year and will remain same for next two years
Likes
- Since it is located in the rural town of manipal, the air quality is nice
- It is mainly a college city so all the activities around are kept in consideration with the students in mind
Dislikes
- The connectivity is a little bit of an issue since the flights are only to major cities
- The rains. It rains a lot during the monsoons and sometimes it is unbearable
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fees for first year btech is the same for every student at around 3 lakh 70 thousand. From second year onwards the fees is dependent on the pursued branch for example, fees for ECE is around 5 lakhs and for it is the same for computer science branches. For streams like Civil it is slightly lower than that. There are certain scholarships:- 1) For people with annual house income less than 8lakhs p.a the fees is about 1lakh 90 thousand each year 2) For students who received good rank in the MET exam they are provided with full tuition fees off given they maintain 8.5 CGPA

- I liked the campus and the culture around very much and the facilities the college is providing.
- Labs and the academic section is well maintained and very professional.
Dislikes
- Teaching all subjects in the first year.
- 75% attendance criteria is kind of worst
Fees and Financial Aid:
414000 fees per anum in that 400000 is the tution fees and 10000 is the caution fees and the 4000 is lab fees admission fees was 10000 and most of my batchmates have similar kind of fees structure. If you get above 8.5cgpa you will get 25% scholarship.

- Campus setup is really nice. Good supply of products inside campus itself.
- Teachers focus on research. So if you're interested go for it.
Dislikes
- The campus security guards don't let students sit anywhere in the campus they're not allowed.
- Even if your perm time is till 11:30p.m. guards will be after your all the night.
Fees and Financial Aid:
For the B.Tech program, the total tuition fee is approximately ?19.58 lakhs for the full course. The fees are slightly different for students admitted through different quotas (for instance, NRI or management quota may have higher fees). There are also additional expenses for mess charges and other campus services. The year wise split of fees at MIT Manipal is different for CS branches and Non CS branches. For the case of Non CS branches, the first year fees goes upto 3.7 to 4.1L. in case of CS branches it is approximately 5.5L. (excluding hostel) Hostel fees ranges from 1L to 2.5 L depending on the accomodation you choose. Hostel Blocks like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10 have lower fees than others. The remaining installment for non cs branches is around 12-13L. Where as for CS branches it ranges upto 15-16L, including some electrical branches. There is one scholarship, a 20% fee waiver. It can be claimed if you are in top 5% for your branch at the end of a semester on the basis of your GPA.
