How good is the B.Tech information technology course at the Manipal Institute of Technology?

MIT Manipal BTech Information Technology is decently structured covering concepts related to software, hardware, and networking as well. Although the degree offered is that B.E in IT, the department is called Information and Communication Technology so students have to also study communication courses straight from students of the ECE branch. I will advise you to take up this course only if you are interested in computers and related stuff because the concepts taught are tough and unless you have an interest in the field you won’t be able to cope with the rigorous curriculum. Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees for the first year is 497000 (all inclusive) it is varies from year to year. Whether it increases of decreases depends on the year as for the 2nd year it is slightly lower but may be higher for the 3rd year. Manipal has no managament quota and seats are reserved instead for Sc/St students or NRI category students. Scholarships are also available depending on first year CGPA or your rank in the entrance exam. Students can avail anywhere between 15% waiver in course fees all the way upto a free ride scholarship. Requirements for continuation of scholarship throughout each year is a minimum CGPA of 8.0.

A crisp review about Manipal Institute of Technology by a third year student.

In first year, the fees paid was 3,25,000 INR and after that the fees depends on the course that you have opted for. For example, CS related branches have a fees of 5,09,000 INR and around 3,25,000 INR for electrical related branches. Hostel fees also depends on the type of room that has been allotted. I have a single non ac room with attached washroom and I pay 1,50,000 INR for the room and 53,000 INR for mess facility. The course fees is increasing yearly. There is no such thing as development fees or lab fees etc, The course fees paid at the start of the academic year includes everything.

Manipal -an insider's perspective

Tution fees incresed per year by 5-10% amount. for 2027 passout batch it is 1891000/-. However scholarshps have been provided for students who scored top 100 ranks in entrance exam will get 100% scholarshi and apart from that top 5% of each class will get 20% scholaship . Apart from that various internship are available which gives stipend to students in their particluar domain.

These is the Best I could provide about MIGHTY MIGHTY MIT

Tution fee is around 20 lakhs for Computer related branches and ece.For civil it is 17 lakhs. bimed and biotech around 18 lakhs and for the core subjects its less like around 16.5 lakhs. Me as a computer related student have fee of 19.62 lakh. there are very few scholarships one is based on the rank in the entrance test and on u get at topping in your branch. As it is a private college the fee is very high but u get a descent placement opportunities as average package for 23-24 is 16.5(cse) even after recession. overall average is 11 lakhs

5.09Lakhs per year. 5% increment per year for newer batches. There is a scholarship for people studying 11th and 12th grade in mahe institutes where they have separate counselling and fees based on cutoff rank.

Brief about the life at MIT Manipal

The fees structure is pretty decent according to a private college. For the first year your fees is less but from the second year, you spend almost 6-7 lakh per year. If a student can't afford, the college provides help with student loan and ensures that every student gets the same kind of treatment.

The fees are a little above the expectation. There are various types of scholarships provided by Manipal. Firstly there is a scholarship for top-rankers who secured 1st rank in MET. Then there is a scholarship for rankers who secured the ranks for 101-5000.
