MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Likes

Our hostels and facilities all are seperate from the rest of the campus.
Yoga and Zumba centers have been established and at no extra cost we can use those facilities.

Dislikes

Hostel curfew times are very strict indeed and we can't go off campus after 8 pm.

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students.

MIT Manipal is awesome!

Likes

Coding, and Robotics societies of MIT Manipal has recieved world wise praise.
Infrastructure of MIT Manipal is seperate from MAHE as our department has its own campus within the MAHE campus.
Our faculties are from MIT Michigan and likewise colleges and thus one can predict the kind of insights they bring in.

Dislikes

Very few scholarships and even bank loans from university are not provided to assist the heavy fees that it charges.

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. So this is how admissions are done as a Computer Based Test is mandatory for technical engineering courses admission at MIT Manipal.

MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

Every list as a student one would have wish for is completed at MIT Manipal.
Often faculties and students sit together post classes and emphasize on other areas of life.
Absolutely top class infrastructure as this has made Manipal to something from Nothing.

Dislikes

Little inside out nature of some students is very annoying.

Admission:

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats. So it's better if you want to study here you apply through MIT Manipal portal. In all there are around 1500+ seats for UG engineering courses in MIT Manipal.

MIT Manipal's Student Plaza is amazing!

AICTE Scholarships are available for rankers and for those who think the fees is high can score well and bring the fees down.
Opportunities just keep ballooning here as one ends and other starts.
Same goes with the events as one ends and the other one begins.

Dislikes

Hard to tell one such but let's say management quota seats are quite many and the students coming through that are not serious or studious too which otherwise most students here are.

Manipal Entrance Test is the way of getting admission here as CBT exam which can be given from anywhere but on a specific date is how admission starts here. As per branches the scores are cut out and for our branch 90 percentile was required for admission.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Likes

If one wants to have some fun along with studies than MIT Manipal is for them.
An amazing famous life with a blissful night life.
Even the sports facilities are out of this world.

Dislikes

In first year it was mandatory to join a three sharing or four sharing room as single rooms were not provided.

Admission:

I applied at Symbiosis Institute of Technology as their AI& ML program is renowned but since my dad is a banker and he knows how important it is to build cyber security system, I took this course. I gave the university entrance examination and luckily our course doesn't commands high scores, I got this course as I wanted this only.

If one needs help with anything they desire they will find a club for that here.
Girls hostel are so warming that I barely miss home while staying in hostels.
No irrelevant topics are there in our college.

Dislikes

Well some rich brats are non serious and have taken admissions for fun here.

For Manipal University there's Manipal Entrance Test called MET and students have to clear that. Or else the students can pay 50% extra and grab a management seat as well. I got the admission through MET and nearly 70% are through that test in my batch.

MIT Manipal is best!

From F1 to Robotics we have clubs which has built all these mechanisms in our college.
Microsoft has been the top recruitment partner of our college.
Hostels are literally home like as we are looked after so well.

Dislikes

Even with such a famous university the infrastructure of Manipal as a whole hasn't improved much.

Admission:

Manipal University has its own entrance test and one has to clear that to get admission here. Even JEE toppers apply at MT Manipal as we have enough jobs and academic security like IITs and that can be seen in strength of our our university.

To be very honest i got around 96%ile in jee and it is the percentile where you can't get into any other good government college.Mit manipal being a top tier two college provided that opportunity to have standing

perfect campus life for all-round growth

the faculty are highly qualified and approachable withgood mix of research expertise and industry knowledge
the cmapus infrastructure is excellent with modern classromms ,labs,libraries and hostel facilities
the placement support is strong and the peer group is diverse and the curriculum is updated regularly

Dislikes

the fees are on the higher side,which may not be affordable for everyone
the academic pressure can be high for me its so hectic
sometime sit depends that the hostel mess food could be improved in terms of taste and sometime sadministartive processes are really time taking,as we need to go throgh a long process

i applied to multiple reputed institutes for my mtech ,including iiit hyd,iiit delhi and bits pilani ,while i cleared the written round sfor some ,i could not make it and i received confirmed admisison at manipla which beacame my first choice
