- Not just crowd from all over the country but MIT Manipal has global crowd as well.
- Clubs of MIT Manipal are a clutch as they help in making connections and opening up.
- Manipal weather is such that 10 to 3 you will mostly find a weather which is sunny.
Dislikes
- Because rich brats study here the activities that happens here are beyond management control.
Admission:
This course is hardly available. RRU was one of my choices, and I cleared the entrance and all. They have physical tests and all, which I failed. At Manipal, no such thing as an entrance and an interview, and we are through.

- Freedom that the college gives you in regards to in-time within campus and within hostel blocks
- Great infrastructures and buildings with beautiful architectures
- Help provided in placements by student clubs and organizations
Dislikes
- Distance between hostels to academic blocks is very long and methods for commuting are limited
- Course material is not provided until the class has progressed to a certain point making it difficult to get a step ahead
- Some lab courses are very poorly structured
Admission:
I applied for PES and VIT besides manipal and was able to secure a seat in both of them but chose MIT over these colleges because it is more credible and from research provides better packages, courses and options.
I also applied for BITS but was rejected due to my insufficient BITSAT scores.
Admission process in MIT is relatively simple and depends on your MET rank. After your MET 3 to 4 rounds of counselling are conducted where you will be allowed to choose a branch of your choice depending on your rank and payment must be done upfront

- Campus is great, loads of opportunities everywhere, crowd is decent and most of the professors are pretty good.
- Labs and classes are very well furnished, fully AC. Hostels are very clean and pleasant.
- Absolutely zero ragging, seniors are very helpful in most cases. Everyone minds their own business.
Dislikes
- Too hot most of the times, its hard to survive without AC
- Many places to go to, but gets boring pretty quickly
- Its a student-run tow, so you wont be having the experience of the real world, everything is easier here

I chose this college because this was the best option I had among others that I got accepted into. Comparing to others, MIT has much lesser intake and a much better campus life. I made it into all the private colleges that I applied to, but not colleges like NIT and IIT
Other colleges I got accepeted into are BITS, VIT, CET, LPU, Thapar. I didnt choose BITS because of the higher fees.
Eligibility criteria of MIT is 60 percentage in boards and students have to write MET, our entrance test, there is 50 percentage weightage for boards as well.

- Its a beautiful place to study in with so much of nature in and around manipal and the boy girl ratio is a little weird there are so many boys than girls
- There are a lot of perks like getting discounts in the hospital which is KMC and also everything is free except the medicines on which 10% discount can be availed on being a student
- The labs, libraries and the teachers are very friendly, and the labs & libraries themselves are really well maintained
Dislikes
- The weather is unpredictable in the first semester so much of rain, can't wear shoes, all ways have an umbrella and i mean its kinda an advantage and disadvantage cuz one thing the rain makes manipal really beautiful
- The heat here is so much in the summers, but it makes sense cuz its a costal city
- I guess you can take it as an advantage and a disadvantage that the campus is big, to get from one place of the campus to another place is an adventure in its own but yes it is quite a journey going to architecture building for a stroll
Admission:
Actually the main reason i chose mit was because i wanted aeronautical engineering and i had heard it was a very good college for aeronautica; engineering but then this time the cutoff for aero was very low and my rank was slightly higher hence i didnt get aero but i got an oppotunity to go to australia after 2 years. I am in a dual degree course where i will be studying 2 years in india and 2 years in australia

- The Campus and the infrastructure. Hostels are well maintained throughout and facilities are almost perfect
- The diversity of people in the college is the perfect combination of brain and braun
- The Student Project culture really helps one if they want to learn a specific skill and also provides great exposure
Dislikes
- The quality of the crowd, while there are a decent portion of people that are great in academics, still there is a decent portion of the crowd which alienates itself from the academics
- The strict hostel rules imposed on the students. The Perm Time for 2nd year students is 11:30 pm which kind of restricts the ability of students to do better in their field of expertise.
- The absurd assignment timings which sometimes clashes with other extra curricular activities in the college
Admission:
I applied for JEE Mains, Advanced, BITS Pilani and VIT Vellore. I chose this college as I messed up my JEE Examinations and BITS Examination. As for VIT, their restrictions on students made me stick with MIT, Manipal.The admission process is pretty simple, you register for MET Phase 1 or 2 or both as per your discretion. MET counselling is after ranks are declared and it goes till 5 rounds usually

- Good girls to boys ratio i dont know the exact ratio though
- Student Projects are really good and win national competitions

- High compulsory attendance, its 75 percent
- High fees and hostel and mess fees are increasing
- Bad and unpredictable weather, can rain any month
Admission:
Most people here are IIT or NIT rejects. I chose this over other colleges because it has a better campus, better sports facilities, better hostels than most of the colleges, more diversity in students as well.

- Location of college is pretty good and mess is one of the best in my opinion. And I think there is nothing to improve
- Crowd is pretty much in my branch because you will see everyone one got pretty decent percentile in mains and seniors are friendly
- Professor are good except some and I don't want to say much.
Dislikes
- Auto drivers charge too much in manipal and catiens are hella expensive
- Gym facilities are decent you have to purchase subscription for premium gym
Admission:
I applied for vellore institute of technology I'm getting cse category 2 in that college but there were too much restriction and academics were not good so I choose manipal
For btech course you have to clear met exam
But there is a catch you have to perform good in your board's examination because manipal takes 50% weightage of boards and 50 % of met score
For cse you will need 90%+ in boards and 130 to 140 in met
Level of met is lower than jee mains

The best part about mit is the college life its made soo well that you dont need to leave the town for anything, everything is readily avaliable and easy to access. As well as the well designed course plans

- Faculty of college is very nice and approachable for any doubts or research projects even provide extra time other than classes .
- Social interaction in college is every easy and convient there are student projects and clubs guided by senior and even events take place frequently that makes it easier for people to settle in the college environment and hangout .
- Infrastructure and area provided for sports ,clubs ,library is quite huge the hostels are nicely furnished giving you proper good lavish environment for the price u pay its all worth it
Dislikes
- Airport from campas is quite far it takes 1 hour to rrach there from cab but cab sharing groups and other options are still available making it affordable
- For north indians students its little difficult to settle in the food and weather because of high humidity and all year long summers

I chose this college because of its academic reputation and the course which i was offered .i was also offered chemical in bitspilani but i had no interest in chemical branches.also other colleges i applied took a long time for to release results and were conducting mutiple rounds even after i joined this college .and I submitted the fees for manipal .rejection from some a tier colleges came soon after jee results were out i was self aware that this rank i would not be offered with a good college .mit counducts two rounds of paper once before your
Boards and other after boards best of two scores will be considered for councelling.eligibility is above 75 percent in maths and physics chemistry manipal only accepts admission through met manipal entrance test.cuttofs for these exams differ every year .overall experience was 8/10

- good campus life , got good restaurants and cafes around and clubs too

- i hate that the area is pretty secluded from metro cities
- lack of proper transportation to the nearest airport manglore, cab takes 1700rs
- pretty expensive for middle class families to send their kids to stay at hostel
Admission:
i choose srm and mit wpu and even got excepted , I opted for cse cyber security in both the colleges . but I knew manipal was better than them after all , even a 11th grader would tell a difference between a tier 2 college and tier 3s. i wanted to go to bits and iits but I couldn't as I didn't scored well in bitsat and I didn't even got selected for jee advance.
you can enter our college through an entrance exam known as met. its not that hard its the same level as jee mains. i would say even lower than jee mains. after you get selected, you would have to pay 10k as a caution money deposit, then you would be able to sit for counseling and branch upgradation before coming to the college. and also, you would have to attend a seminar and a document verification by physically coming to the campus.
