The course is decently relevant, although can be made more updated. Some of the subjects do infact prepare for real world applications, whereas some are completely irrelevant to the industry norms. Overall, the course curriculum is above average.

The curriculum is somewhat similar to IIT Bola which is also why I considered this college. The curriculum plus the extra curricular activities present prepares us really well for everything. The timings of exam are a little tough to handle. Not much gap between exams is given here.

We have internal assesments and end-semester exams. In internal assesments, first a surprise assignment is conducted where we don't know which subject quiz is on which day of the week. This is called MISAC 1 and is for 5 marks. Mid sem exams are conducted generally 2 months into the start of semester and are of 30 marks. These are the 50 internal marks. End sem is conducted for 50 marks making it a total of 100 marks.

Course Curriculum is common for first year students There are two cycles i.e. physics And chemistry cycle in first year. Faculties are very nice and can be approached for any doubt. Term exams are medium-hard but with some self study it's easily passable

The faculty are helpful and the timetable is very student friendly with enough time to pursue personal activities. The student ratio is good and each teacher gives enough attention to each student. The faculty is well qualified for their roles.

I chose this course because I am interested in electrical circuits. 1:15 is a faculty-student ratio. Facilities are all up to the mark and PhD holders Term exam is taken every 4-5 months and mid-sem is there as well. A student is able to pass the exam if he studies in a good way and levels are mid to extreme hard.
The faculty was good for this course. There were 3 classes for a total of roughly 240 students in my course (EEE) the exams were semester wise and they were a bit tricky sometimes. There were tests every 3 weeks which went till the end semester for exams.
I chose this course because of my passion for this field and heard of MIT alumni producing great industry experts in this field. MIT has a great faculty:student ratio of around 1:30 Most of the teaching faculty is Ph.D. holders and has a great teaching style that promotes practical knowledge and easily understandable, really supporting staff members. Assignments and quizzes are given regularly other than that we have mid-semester exams and end-semester exams which are not that difficult to pass.
