Admission to the college involves an entrance exam with a scoring system of +4 for correct and -1 for incorrect answers. "What you want from a college?"

Third thing I hate about this college is 75% attendance criteria which is followed very strictly and sometimes genuine person has to suffer because of this.

I have paid a total of 4,64,000 (including 10000 refundable caution fee) as of now for the first year excluding hostel that is 1,75,000 and including mess ( 53,000 ) and 10,000 refundable deposit. The hostel is double AC while we have options of single AC and double non AC as well ( fees increases and decreseas accordingly ). While we don't have lab fees and other hidden charges as such. For CSE related branches total tution fees increases to 19.58 lakhs for 4 years. There are few scholarships or financial aisa available like achievers scholarship where you get scholarship based on your MET ( college admission test ) as well as on basis of GPA and also AICTE scholarship for students whose parents are earning less than 8 lakhs per year, their tution fees is waived.

My experience

So for the year-wise fees, we have to pay around 4 lakhs a year, which is completely tuition fees if you don't have any scholarship. For hostels, it ranges from a lack to two depending upon the rooms you prefer; it also includes the mess fees. There are scholarship programs like merit-based scholarships, which basically depend on your GPA. The tuition fees depend on the course you prefer. The fee is different for every course.

Manipal- The Town for Students

The fee structure for my year (2021 intake) was about 3.5 lakhs for the first year then 4.3 lakhs for the rest of the course (Electrical and Electronics). There are financial-based and merit-based scholarships available, the details of which are available on the college's official website. The tuition fees mentioned here included everything related to academics

The best college for an extraordinary campus life.

The fees is a little too high and everything is expensive

432000 for first year 431000 for second third and fourth years No tution fees difference for Management, SC or ST There's scholarship for people whose family income is less than 600000 yearly. Different branches have different fee Structure like my friend with Electronics and Instrumentation have to pay 432000 for first year 325000 for second, third and fourth year

Electives offered are based on recent study topics

Strict attendance policy means you have to attend most of the classes even though you feel you don't learn from them

Fees for first year was 315000 and an additional 10000 was paid as security deposit. 2nd year onwards yearly tuition fees was 430000. There are many scholarships available. 30% waiver for people in the top 10% of the batch in the first year and top 5% 2nd year onwards.

Fees is the only bad factor of manipal I feel. Even though the opportunity and other things they provide us with for example student project. I didn't avail any scholarship but it's available for people who got under 5000 rank in MET And for top 5% of each course

There is mainly four group system and each group is filled with some branch and there are different fees for the different groups there is less fees for the first year and there is a hike in fees for the second year and then it remains constant for the next two year.

The Manipal Guide

The fee structure is very transparent, though it is a bit costly for a middle-class family. There are plenty of scholarship opportunities if you top your branch or top the college at the end of the first year and also if you have a rank below 100 all your fees for 4 years is free and for under 5000 there is a 25% scholarship.

Manipal and it's experience

The fee structure of our college for my course. 1st year fees: 165000+160000. 2nd year fees: 450000. 3rd year and 4th year is the same. There are some scholarships in the college that come under AICTE and UGC guidelines. And some depend on the income of your parents.
