Not just crowd from all over the country but MIT Manipal has global crowd as well.
Clubs of MIT Manipal are a clutch as they help in making connections and opening up.
Manipal weather is such that 10 to 3 you will mostly find a weather which is sunny.

Dislikes

Because rich brats study here the activities that happens here are beyond management control.

Placement Experience:

Banks & companies which are more prone to cyber crimes which including Indian defence too. So, we get the opportunity there as well, and placements obviously are around 10 lakhs and all. It will increase as the industry size grows, and therefore, I believe when we are placed, it will be over 20 lakhs or more.

MIT manipal - a complete review(hostel, nightlife, fees, academics)

Likes

Campus is great, loads of opportunities everywhere, crowd is decent and most of the professors are pretty good.
Labs and classes are very well furnished, fully AC. Hostels are very clean and pleasant.
Absolutely zero ragging, seniors are very helpful in most cases. Everyone minds their own business.

Dislikes

Too hot most of the times, its hard to survive without AC
Many places to go to, but gets boring pretty quickly
Its a student-run tow, so you wont be having the experience of the real world, everything is easier here

Companies like blackrock has recently took interns from our college. Stipend and roles offered is not sure. Its an I+P internship, meaning they will get turned to full-time for sure. Other several companies also take interns from 3rd year.

Life at MIT Manipal

Likes

Its a beautiful place to study in with so much of nature in and around manipal and the boy girl ratio is a little weird there are so many boys than girls
There are a lot of perks like getting discounts in the hospital which is KMC and also everything is free except the medicines on which 10% discount can be availed on being a student
The labs, libraries and the teachers are very friendly, and the labs & libraries themselves are really well maintained

Dislikes

The weather is unpredictable in the first semester so much of rain, can't wear shoes, all ways have an umbrella and i mean its kinda an advantage and disadvantage cuz one thing the rain makes manipal really beautiful
The heat here is so much in the summers, but it makes sense cuz its a costal city
I guess you can take it as an advantage and a disadvantage that the campus is big, to get from one place of the campus to another place is an adventure in its own but yes it is quite a journey going to architecture building for a stroll

Internships Opportunities:

Not very sure about the internship opportunities but i have heard that these interships do give a lot of experience and the hands on experience of the life of a person working in that particular sector.

The Campus and the infrastructure. Hostels are well maintained throughout and facilities are almost perfect
The diversity of people in the college is the perfect combination of brain and braun
The Student Project culture really helps one if they want to learn a specific skill and also provides great exposure

Dislikes

The quality of the crowd, while there are a decent portion of people that are great in academics, still there is a decent portion of the crowd which alienates itself from the academics
The strict hostel rules imposed on the students. The Perm Time for 2nd year students is 11:30 pm which kind of restricts the ability of students to do better in their field of expertise.
The absurd assignment timings which sometimes clashes with other extra curricular activities in the college

Internships Opportunities:

JP MorganChase has offered internships for the Software Engineer Programs for the Summer Internships The stipend is not revealed as of now. There is also opportunity for Internship by Flipkart for women only. These include Pre-Placement Talks/ Online tests/ Group Discussion and Interviews

Diversity in ppl from states and languages
Good girls to boys ratio i dont know the exact ratio though
Student Projects are really good and win national competitions

Dislikes

High compulsory attendance, its 75 percent
High fees and hostel and mess fees are increasing
Bad and unpredictable weather, can rain any month

Many companies offer internships. Most of the students go for internships after the end of third year, but some also go after finishing second year as well. Overall quality and opportunities in terms of internships is good

Location of college is pretty good and mess is one of the best in my opinion. And I think there is nothing to improve
Crowd is pretty much in my branch because you will see everyone one got pretty decent percentile in mains and seniors are friendly
Professor are good except some and I don't want to say much.

Dislikes

Auto drivers charge too much in manipal and catiens are hella expensive
Gym facilities are decent you have to purchase subscription for premium gym

Placement Experience:

I have no info about eligibility criteria but you can assume after 6 th sem Many top companies like Microsoft nvidia Intel google came last year Avg package for cse is 13 to 14 lakhs and I have no idea about highest package Percentage placement is 88% My plan is to do masters from foreign universities

Campus is made to perfection with easy access to everything
Classrooms are very well designed and maintained.

Dislikes

Mess food quality can be improved greatly.
Faculty needs to be decided basis of student feedback

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty varied basis on your cgpa and interviews the companies select a handfull of the students about 30% students are placed in mechatronics every year, and more overall, mostly cs students have the most preference.

Likes

Faculty of college is very nice and approachable for any doubts or research projects even provide extra time other than classes .
Social interaction in college is every easy and convient there are student projects and clubs guided by senior and even events take place frequently that makes it easier for people to settle in the college environment and hangout .
Infrastructure and area provided for sports ,clubs ,library is quite huge the hostels are nicely furnished giving you proper good lavish environment for the price u pay its all worth it

Dislikes

Airport from campas is quite far it takes 1 hour to rrach there from cab but cab sharing groups and other options are still available making it affordable
For north indians students its little difficult to settle in the food and weather because of high humidity and all year long summers

Internship opportunity are available from 3 rd year oncampas. Companies come for internships. U should have good projects related to field u are applying in for getting your cv shortlisted . All roles are offered from cse branches to civil mechanical branches roles . But u can also go for off campus internship and start applying from your second year only.

things you should know before coming to manipal

Likes

amount and quality of labs and faculties and academic blocks present for each department
subjects are as per the future requirements and also in parallel to the uprising technology in the tech industry
good campus life , got good restaurants and cafes around and clubs too

Dislikes

i hate that the area is pretty secluded from metro cities
lack of proper transportation to the nearest airport manglore, cab takes 1700rs
pretty expensive for middle class families to send their kids to stay at hostel

Internships Opportunities:

I have not opted for any internships but various companies visit here for internships such as Microsoft, adobe, amazon, uber, cisco summer internship, gsoc. they offer various tasks according to your subsystems. various projects include making and deploying CRUD apps, web dev apps, ML stuff. stipend usually varies from 1k to 2L per month according to the companies they are in
