Hostel Facilities:

Over 2 lakhs is fees because air-conditioned rooms and state of the art facilities in room where we can apply posters and do anything in our rooms. Campus is ours 24*7 as we can use every single facility of the campus as and when we want.

My hostel room is non-attached, non-ac. Great experience. Toilets are very clean. They clean our rooms once every two days, additionally we can request a cleanup. There are other blocks with attached washrooms and AC, those rooms are top tier. Mess food is decent, very clean and hygenic. You will get tired of it after some time but at least its very clean and safe to eat. Lots of varieites thourhgout the week. Hostels are pretty expensive, with the cheapest one being 1.15Lakhs (mess_hostel)

The Campus and the infrastructure. Hostels are well maintained throughout and facilities are almost perfect

Dislikes

The strict hostel rules imposed on the students. The Perm Time for 2nd year students is 11:30 pm which kind of restricts the ability of students to do better in their field of expertise.

The room is cleaned twice in a week by ZOLO cleaners. Wi-fi facility is provided with the data speed cap of 15mbps. Good furniture is provided in the rooms along with bucket and mug and even an umbrealla by ZOLO. Mess Food is good and there is a Month End special Meal also. Registeratiob for Hostels usually depends on the CGPA or MET Rank for freshers.

Mess food quality can be improved greatly.

The hostel rooms are made perfectly with amazing hospitality with daily cleaning and 24/7 supply of hot water. The hostels are well secured to. The mess food isnt great but they do have a large spread of dishes everyday!

There are new and old blocks . Newer blocks have better infrastructure like block 22,21 for girls and block 15 ,9 for boys . Hostel are too comfortable u wouldn't take a bit to settle in . Very comfortable hotel type rooms and lobbies including sofa and ac facility . Registration process for hostels starts after counselling and from second year u need minimum of 7.5 cgpa to get an ac room or any room. Hostels cost around 1 lakh to 2 lakh depending upon the type of room. Mess is 45 k per year . Mess is present near every block. If u want to move out of stay out there are many options like embassy, emerald, shambhavi , and other flats . Mess food is nice having a lot of options of both veg and non veg people.

pretty expensive for middle class families to send their kids to stay at hostel

mess food quality is good whereas the a la carte would be better of course.menu is vast. we have a total of 8 messes total inside in the campus out of which 2 are food courts and are very big. there are total 22 hostel block and they are pretty affordable starting at 97k for triple sharing common washroom and ending at ac single sharing attached bath for 2.2L . most affordable one is the double ac attached one for 1.5L.

The hostels are great and have a wide variety. From ac to common washroom to triple sharingg to single, every person can be accomadated here depending on his/her personal choice. They privide cleaning 3 times a week and give pillow and mattresses. The food is good you get non-veg and veg on alternate days and egg being there when chicken is not. Pgs are available everywhere and its no problem to get one. Hostels are slightly expensive as they range from 80000 per year to 180000

Despite having multiple food Court in Campus tunes are allowed to eat only at the one they are registered with. Even if a student skip is the mean, the amount was deduct it from the fees

The hostel provides triple double and single occupancy with AC, a non-AC rooms. For the triple occupancy in the washroom is common for the entire floor and four double and single occupancy. There is attached washroom. The room comes with a study table and chair a cupboard and a bed with mattress. Washroom is well furnished with hot water and cleaning every day. The food is very decent and keeping health in mind. The breakfast is usually a spread of bread,butter and a South Indian North Indian breakfast and lunch and dinner is usually a mix of veg and non-veg with eggs, chicken and fish being served at least thrice every week. The registration process for 1st year is first come first serve and second year onwards it is based on CGPA and every thing is done online. There are multiple apartments ranging from 10,000 to up to 30,000. Every thing is within the radius of 3 km is and there is accessibility for Every thing is within the radius of 3 km is and there is accessibility for food, home-made food and fancy home-made food and fancy food. The hostel option is great. The only glitch is the hostel timings and for any night out or such there are hostel warden where parents have to give a call and send a mail to the Warden and then the leave is approved.

There are many types of rooms triple sharing non ac common bathroom double sharing non ac common bathroom double sharing non ac attached bathroom double sharing ac attached bathroom single ac attached bathroom single ac common bathroom. The fees of each vary year to year. I paid 123000 for double non ac attached in first year and i paid 170000 for double ac attached in 2nd year. Mess fees is 56000 included in the hostel fee. Hostels are appropriately priced as compared to other colleges

Stuff is expensive here and sometimes some places ,night canteens sell stuff above mrp which is expensive but cant really help.

Hostel Facility is actually good So my hostel is basically a flat .We have double sharing room ,there are single sharing as well which included AC and Non AC and in first year you are alloted but as the year increases their is cgpa criteria to stay in hostels .Hostel cleaner come weekly and we have laundry services in every floor and night canteen in the ground floor Registration is done in hostels.manipal.edu and the prices depends on the room type single rooms are expensive around 1.5L but double sharing is around 122000 .
