Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as
Academic Requirement:
Indian Boards:
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams.
A level:
- Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject* as optional subject in the ‘A’ Levels and English in the ‘AS’ / IGCSE / GCSE
- Minimum grade required is an average of ‘D’ grade in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects * Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams
IB:
- English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject* as optional subject (preferably Mathematics and Physics at HL level) ‘

The first year fees is common for all electronics branches which is 335000. After this the 2nd year fees varies from 335000 for electronics and instrumentation to 502000. The total fees of electronics and instrumentation for 4 years is 1301000
Likes
- The culture within the college is very good and people Including the professor are very friendly
- Great infrastructure and with every facility for education
Dislikes
- Standard of living here is very expensive
- Mode of communication is also way expensive and also language barrier comes in between

My tuition is 325000 per year, there is no reservation or any waiver fee for the SC,ST students Different branches have diff fee structure such as my friends with other branches like EEE branch, ECE branch have to pay 435000 and people with Computer related branches have tuition fees of around 500000
Likes
- Limited student admission so there is no useless crowd
- Manipal is a vibe , in manipal only rich students come so you live in a standard way and you learn many new things about richness
Dislikes
- Drug culture , in manipal there is easy access to drugs
- 75 attendence you have to be present at 8 am class as well as 4:30 pm class

Course Every Branch has different course structure Every computer related branch is 5 lakhs Chemical mechanical civil - 4 lakhs And every electrical related branch -3 lakh Hostel Single ac - 2 lakhs Single non AC - 1lakh 50 thousand Triple sharing with common bathroom - 96 lakhs Double ac 1 lakh 50 thousand This fees is including mess fees Manipal offers different types of scholar'ship I didn't apply do I don't know much about
Likes
- Utility services such as high speed Internet connection, constant water and electric supply, availablity of messes and dining options
- Accessibility and connectivity as the campus is located in a town, not far off from the city.
Dislikes
- The quality of messs food is disappointing at times dues to mass production.
- Infrastructure and the feeling of living in a cramped up campus.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Due to inflation the fees at MIT have been increasing for the last 10 years. The tuition fees for my particular course came to about 3.3L. Other fees include hostel which came to about 1L and mess facilities which was 42K for the year. Other miscellaneous charges came to around 10K. A number of scholarships are offered by different agencies, one including the "Women Engineers" scholarship by Google. The university does not provide campus employment opportunities for first year students. Internships are provided to students on merit basis during the third year.
Likes
- The place, the college and the atmosphere .
- The sports facility and marena complex which provides these facilitaties.
Dislikes
- The mess food is pretty repetitive and boring.
- Nearest town is 5km away and only means of transport is auto and bus
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees varies every year but they send out a detailed form for every year and you will not be asked to pay more than that. There are many scholarships available and the details for it can be found in their website it's all very clear.

The fee structure is quite high compared to other colleges but you get equal amount of scholarships and financial assistance from the college. Moreover MET has a just system that evaluates people on the basis of merit.
Likes
- Personally, I love campus life here at MIT.
- Gyms and party-clubs are very huge in number.
Dislikes
- A bad weather with heavy & sudden rainfall and also sunny daytime.
- Cost of studying is too high for circuital branches.
Fees and Financial Aid:
There is no fee hike policy so far I observed. And the cost to study is DAMN high. It's costlier than most of the private engineering colleges in India. There are scholarships other than the merit-based aid given by the institution and there's no official proofs that the institution had given scholarships to all the 8+ CGPA students. I don't think there are part-time jobs in the campus.

Fees are okay compared to the placement opportunities and the daily expenditure is not much since Manipal itself is a very small place with not many places to roam around. I am still in my first year and didn't get ant job yet.
Likes
- The campus life is literally crazy among all the private colleges in India.
- As I love nature, the wildlife is mind-blowing here with variety of species.
Dislikes
- MIT Manipal has almost unpredictable weather with heavy rains.
- Food of Karnataka-cuisine is not that good and also sweet.

I don't think there's a lot of fee hikes here. It can be seen only in the 1st-2nd year of B.Tech. The cost to study is higher than an average private engineering college. There's only 1 scholarship provided through MIT i.e., MET merit-based based waiver (20% for rank below 5k and 100% for rank below 100). There are no jobs with stipend on the campus. None of the financial assistance is provided.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Course Curriculum is well balanced. Academics is good. Faculty members are one of the best. The course keeps getting updated with new discoveries around the world. The course allows us to access industrial grade machinery to run mock trial to ensure our success in any industry.
