Course teaching to us is very flexible and relevant to current time. Till 2nd year you will have fixed subjects. For 3rd year, you will get choices to choose subjects for yourself. Cs branches have tough labs, and exams for every branches are tough

Campus placement is so so. There are lot of good companies that visit MIT manipal, which includes Uber, Goldman Sachs, western digital corps, Accenture, ITC, Nvidia. Even for internships there are many good companies that visit. Placement packages offered is usually ranging from 9lpa to 41 lpa

Most of the courses cost Rs 5,09,000 pa and hostel fees cost from 80k pa to 2,09,000pa. There are available scholarship merits which you get either if your family income is less than 8lpa or if you are in the top 5% of your branch. Scholarship waiver is alot and reduces the fees significantly. Fees also increases every year for new batch. Hostel fees also increases every year, but for everyone.

Campus lifestyle is good. There is alot of exposure and freedom. Library is near the academic block, so it is painful to walk all the way from hotels, as hostels are far from library. Sports culture is very good in this college. There is ground for almost every main sports including football, cricket, hockey, basketball, handball, tennis and badminton

Hostels facility in manipal is good, although accomodation is provided only till 3rd year. Hostel facility is quite expensive, but rooms are good and not congested. Mess food is better compared to others but not very good.

From jee i was not getting any good colleges and in private colleges Manipal was the best option as: 1) the batch size is lot lesser compared to Vit, Kiit. So there is less competition with the similar crowd and intelligence 2) There is lot of exposure for students here

Faculty at this college are good, they are many great researchers in this college. However there are not so many good professors from teaching aspect. But the teachers are very helpful and approachable. There are two written exams in whole semester: 1 Midsemester exam of 30 marks, and endsemester exam of 50 marks. Other than that there are 20 marks of assignment which is usually 2 quizzes of 5 marks and one 10 marks written assignment
