Cambridge Institute of Technology an Autonomous Institute was established under the Umesh Education Trust in 1964. The institute is approved by AICTE, affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University Belagavi and accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade, four Undergraduate programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science and Engineering are accredited by NBA.CIT has also obtained an NIRF Innovation ranking in the band of 101-150. CIT has bagged the prestigious project from MEITY(Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology )Govt. of India under the C2S program worth INR 494 Lakhs. It is working in collaboration with premier Institutes to execute sponsored projects from ISRO, and DRDO worth INR 15 crores. CIT offers seven UG programs and four PG Programs. Eight research centers are recognized by VTU for promoting Doctoral programs. The Institute Innovation Council under MOE and AICTE has been continuously recognized with 5-star and 4-star awards. I got MVJ in mock round i didnt want to join it since it is more known for medical feild. I didnt apply to colleges which werent much prefered for my rank i took suggestions from my seniors who are into engineering feild. There is nothing like entrance test conducted at college to the best of my knowledge. We can get admission through kcet comed k and management as well.

I went through many colleges , since i was joining through management quota , i compared the fees and placement of others college, i selected around 10 to 15 college's and found Cambridge will be good for the fees i can afford and placement for that fees and it is near to my home

My rank in comedk was around 30000 so I didn't had many choices to pick from. But Cambridge institute of technology was best among the Choices I had. It had goot placement rate and good average packages. Admission process here is very simple you can find it on college website very easily

People typically enter through KCET, COMEDK. They also accept JEE Mains rank. Admission process was quick and straighforward. I chose this college because of its location and closeness to the highway. It has decent placements, good faculty.

The admission was pretty much direct after I got the college alloted from the comedk exam results. I paid the fees and there were two tests for admissions or so. There are multiple courses available for students to opt for.

Eligibility of the course is 60 percentage in 10th and 12th and you can reach to college admission department for application form etc.. If you reserve the seat then it is good and they give it to you for less fees.

Thyen admission process of my college is very easy. I wrote pgcet exam in Karnataka and I scored around 6620 rank in this exam. In first round I applied for 7 colleges, and not satisfied with the college I got. So entered for second round, and then I got the seat in this college.

As per the cutoff list of 2023, given below are the expected cutoffs of Cambridge Engineering College for B.Tech. (according to specialisations):
The per year fee of Cambridge Institute of Technology B.Tech. CSE is INR 5 lacs. The total fee of the course is INR 20 lacs. The highest package offered in the institute was of 27 lacs per year.
Through PGCET exam, you can get admission to PG courses only and you can check out the fee structure for the same at CIT Bangalore Courses & fees.
The 2024 session fee structure has not yet been released. According to the previous fee structure, The per year fee of MBA is INR 2.50 lacs.
Admission to all the three courses is granted based on the PGCET score. However, the institute also accepts GATE scores for M.Tech and KMAT scores for MBA and MCA.
