Placement scenario in campus, highest and average package being offered

The placement in our college are quite less compared to other colleges. Students are eligible from 3rd year for campus placements. I have visited 2 companies that is Amazon and Thrift(not popular) i got no offers among it. Highest package is 30LPA and the average is 4-5LPA. The percentage that is CGPA should be more than 7 or 8 but higher the CGP higher the chances of placements. I wanted to do Masters.

What is the total fees of the course and scholarship availability in the campus?

The year wise fees is 175000. 160000 is tuition fee, 10000 for internship training and rest 5000 is for other charges. For everyone it is same except for the CET members and SC/ST Members like CET people pay from 30000-80000 and SC/ST pay 120000 The payment mode is cash,NEFT,RTGS and SSP is the scholarship for us.

Admission Process of the college

I have applied for like four to five colleges That is dayanand sagar which has multiple branches and i have applied two colleges in it annd other one TJohn college and other one AMC and the KSIT college. I wanted to go for dayanand sagar but i got rejected for late application and I next tried to go for Ksit and i got seat there. The admission procees of the college is based on CER ranking and the caste wise allocated seats and in some of colleges they may ask entrance exam ot interviews.

Events organized and facilities available in the college

The overall campus is okay enough for a normal college. The only fest that i know is Main College Fest ANANYA in December or January. The books in our library has two floor. The faculties are vey smart and great. We have sports but no ground except one quadrangles where we can play badminton, volleyball, throwball and indoor games are chess ,carrom ,table tennis. We have no clubs nothing.

Students view on course curriculum

I like to work on computers and coding is the main reason to join my course CSE . And i have few knowledge about it so curriculum prepares very well in the real world. There is no need of improvements it perfect for me. The timing will be like 1 or 1and a half month.

What are students view about their faculties?

The faculty to student relation is good and they treat us equally and they interact well with the students . I like smitha ma'am cause she looks good tbh and she teaches so well that no one ever asked her doubts . Rani Ma'am she is not good with students and have rough behaviour and her teaching is bad. We have 3 internals test for theory and 1 lab internals test and externals for both theory and lab in one sem. There are no students who fail to clear the exams. Course is little complicated but can work on it.

Internships Opportunities

Its not like you have to go for these companies only for internships. You can Go to companies at the locality. I have got only mini projects now that is currently i am in 3rd year so i have got mini projects.

As my rank was 40k I got through cet by obc(1G) reservation.I tried for Global Institute of Technology.But I didn't get in councelling. As of now curriculum and teaching in kcit is better than global college.I got ksit in 3rd round and Dayanand sagar University located in Harohalli which is 30km away from my college.

My main reason I chose this college was becaue the travel time it takes to reach the college wfrom where I live is prettly short. My rank wasn't good enough to get into other colleges. The admission process here was simple and smooth

The classes are quite well maintained and availability of digital projection.

Dislikes

Lack of proper sports ground exclusive to college.

Admission:

I applies for few other college through cet. I have to say that this was a better option among them. It is relatively nearer to my home and had a more comprehensive review among others. It would have been better if I got better marks but I have to say that among similar range our college has a higher rating.

Students should take initiative in sports and extra curriculars
Cons about this college is they are not into sports and cultural activities

Admission:

I chose this college because at last i didn't have any other options for getting into colleges . I had applied for JSS but i didn't get a seat due shortage of seats If the student is coming through KCET then for CSE is 40k

Ksit is a good choice according to me

Study rooms for discussions and easy library access

Dislikes

The facilities are a little less which can be improved

Admission:

I was neet student and I didn't get into Neet so I wrote my Cet exam I got a ranking around 20 k since my ranking was around 20 k I couldn't get into other colleges I joined KSIT because it was the best college in my ranking.I got selected in my first round itself

What was the year fees

The fee for the Btech course is INR 75,000 to 143,748 depending on the specializations. Check here for the Btech from KS Institute of Technology. And for the Mtech course is INR 98,030
